Basically a typical well made product from Germany. It exudes quality and is worth the price paid.

The item was shipped from Germany and arrived shortly after the advertised time window. The fire had a large crack in the casing as shown on the picture and consequently had to be returned. This is a large item that weighs 21kg. I contacted the seller before and after triggering the return on Amazon asking them to arrange a pick-up - a standard service offered by their preferred courier (Parcelforce/DHL). However, the seller declined and instructed me to drop off the item at a post office. Already not very pleased I arranged for this, only to find that the post office declined to handle items of this size and weight. At the end, two people and a car were needed to drop off the item at a Parcelforce *depot*, in haste to make it by the imposed deadline. I wouldn't advise buying bulky products from this company.

Excellent heat production and the fire looks contemporary in a new build environment but I am disappointed in the brightness and colour of the flame effect. If not looking straight on at almost eye level it appears to be just a black void. Without this effect I suspect I would have been better off financially by purchasing a convector heating only fire.

When it arrived at first the glow from the heater was just enough to make my log cabin feel cosy. After an hour of use the light went out and hasn’t worked since. My husband contacted the supplier who say that a “technician” is required to replace the bulb. It is really disappointing that the bulb didn’t last and that it cant be replaced I now have a black metal box in the corner when I might as well have bought a simple fan heater. It does provide heat but without the “flames” I don’t see a lot of point to this product especially at this price.

This is a great looking fire and the fan is reasonably quiet. It was ideal for the corner of our conservatory to provide a ‘switch on and off’ focal point, and a heat boost in winter. Unfortunately two had to be returned with faulty thermal cutout switches, so I am in the process of being refunded. The company in Germany were extremely helpful with both returns.I assume it is a faulty batch, so I got a third one from a different supplier, which seems to be OK.

Completely delighted. Unlike many flame-effect fires this one operates virtually silently.

I did not buy this in Amazon but wanted to contribute as the review here nearly put me off buying it. I'm delighted with this heater. The flame effect is very good, nice and bright and it heats the room well. I'd suggest that the manufacturers should install a sound function that will make the noise of a real crackling fire! But I don't know if that exists anywhere! I am very happy with this heater /fire and highly recommended.

Great looking fire, would have kept it but found it to be a little noisy for my liking. Company were fantastic full refund no questions.
