Great product
I wanted to try something different from my 3M triple flange. These are so much more comfortable and the noise blocking is the same. Hands down my new flange style earplugs.

Comfortable and very effective...
Eager to give these a try on the trap field. I have been using foam pods, which are adequate as long as they are fully seated, but I've found they rarely stay seated for a full round of trap, and the way you find out one is no longer tightly seated is when a shotgun blast gets around them to your eardrum. Don't want such a loud reminder that my hearing has just been damaged. These are surprisingly soft and insert very easily into ones ear, especially if you rotate them slightly, and the sense of closure is palpable: you can definitely feel when they are properly and fully seated. No sound is getting in, period. Follow the advice to rotate them fully while removing them, otherwise you will get the unpleasant sensation that you just might be sucking your cochlear membrane out of your ear canal. Really, they do seal up tight, and you need to break that seal before you attempt to remove them. I like the jump-rope cord that keeps them together and the handy carry box that keeps them isolated from the usual flotsam and jetsom floating around in my range bag. These are, after all, going into a bodily orifice; you therefore want to keep them as clean as possible.

Update Review. I recommend these as a value purchase.
1-5-2022 After coming back to buy another pair 2 years later, I see many reviews complaining about pressure, not cutting the noise out enough. One of the reason (IMO and experience) is that most people do not know how to put therm on correctly. You are supposed to reach over the top of your head with your right hand, grab your left ear from the top, and pull up and back then insert the ear plugs. Opposites for the other ear. YouTube has many videos demonstrating this. If you try and just shove them in the plugs act like a plunger and will seal and force air into the tightening space of your ear canal and cause your ear drum to hurt. Or you get inconsistant seal and noise gets through. Highest rating for foam/silicone/rubber ear plugs I have seen is 33NR. Rifle blast is 160db, 120db can immediate damage. Use ear muffs in addition to ear plugs when at and indoor range. Recommend electronic noise accentuating ear muffs. Combined you can get 50db noise reduction, plus attenuation of the blast itself! I use these and electronic earmuffs for indoor and outdoor shooting. They fit my ears which are medium/military blue earplugs? I use both because I have damaged my hearing plenty. Between rock and roll and being in the military, damage has been done. Do not want to lose anymore. I have paid more and gotten less. After 4 various orders, I decided to buy these for cost, comfort and effectiveness. I should be buying the $100 plus versions of various hearing protection, but the combo mentioned above is plenty.

These are the best earplugs I've ever had.
I will never buy another earplug again! I like the little ribs on the Ear Seals; they really seal out noise. The plastic core is not very large, so the earplugs are comfortable and great for smaller ear canals. Ear Seals are so wonderful... easy to clean and they come in a little box to keep them clean. I must be picky when it comes to earplugs because over 90% of what I've tried I wouldn't want to have in my ear all night (I hate snoring). With the Ear Seals, noise is blocked out all night and my ears feel great in the morning. One little tip: when inserting the earplug twist it while pushing it in. This cuts down on any pressure that might form.

Great ear plugs.
Great earplugs. Works well for noise, but I need to use ear muffs over them to get rid of the concussion from guns being fired. No one else that I have talked to seem to be bothered by the concussion. I can still hear enough even with both forms of ear protection present, but these seem to cut down the dangerous noises (gun shots, etc.) to tolerable levels. I really like the ease with which I can insert and remove these. Also the connecting cord is handy for when I temporarily remove them.

Love product, the soft cord & case -
I've needed earplugs for over 9 months due to a head injury & noise sensitivity. I'm able to wear these & adjust how far into my ear I have them - which then allows me to adjust for situations (I can still hear a sermon in church but not feel it is way too loud... I can muffle out background noise and focus on a person in front of me a little better in a crowded area...) I can also stick in to the point where I can not hear much of anything. They are soft, but able to create a 'seal' (?) by pushing in; then very slightly pulling back out - but not out of ear. The thread type cord is awesome because it isn't really noticeable when I'm wearing them. I often take the plugs out, but leave around my neck in case I suddenly need to put back in. I also use when my husband snores, - it is never uncomfortable. I don't loose or misplace "one" because they are always connected. I can take them off, but leave around my neck in case I need to quickly put back in. I'd tried the "foam" earplugs and really dont like them - they have to be disposed quickly (can't be cleaned) and STOPPED using foam plugs after one stuck to my ear and was incredibly painful to remove. (I'm cleaning my ears very frequently as you could imagine due to the need for earplugs so frequently - so I know it wasn't an accumulation of wax..)

These are alright
I've used similar earplugs to this but these are not very comfortable to me at all. I wanted to love these because of the fact they are small and the string that keeps them together was an attractive option but it takes way too long for me to get these in comfortably. I do pull my ear up and put my arm around my head to hold it while I insert it and it gives some alright protection but it takes too much time to put in after taking out to talk to someone. Also, these, as previously mentioned, are pretty much the same as the waterproof ones. These are just less expensive. Kind of like Excedrin Migraine.

Good not enough
Bought this product to try out for travelling since i'm a light sleeper and can't sleep with any type of snoring. I would say these ear plugs help to suppress the sound but not totally block the sound out & they kept slipping out my ear..
