A co-worker has a board on her book shelf and I started noticing a different message on it every week. I admire it every time I pass by her desk, and I kept wondering what board it was. I really like the concept so finally I went to the Internet to find out what it was. I had no clue there was such a thing as a letter board craze, and I didn't even know what the board was called! I decided I wanted to join in, so I went to Amazon to look for such a board. I purchased the 12 x 12 board from The Original Letterboard Supply Co. based on the reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. This letter board is very well made. It feels substantial weight-wise, and I really like the stand that came with it. And having two sides (grey and black) is a bonus! It’s a really good size and I like that it’s double sided. The letter are easy to adhere. I’m just disappointed that I have to purchase extra letters to form words like “jazz”.The base itself is an easy slide but it’s not completely secure and can easily slide off place if held the wrong way

The media could not be loaded.  I really like the quality of this board. The wood is nice, and there are nice little touches like the drawstring bags to keep the letters, and the fun emojis. Also love that it's double sided! It also comes with a picture hanger kit, although I didn't show that in the video.

I went through a lot of review for felt letter boards and even ordered two other ones. This one was my absolute favorite! I wanted a grey board with a lighter frame to make it pop and this was it. The fact that its double-sided makes it even better! The felt is so soft and smooth and the stand is so sturdy. It's the only board that I've seen with this type of stand and it's definitely better than the flimsy ones that most other letter boards come with. Also, the letters feel and look like high quality letters. There are no little stubs that need to be filed down! They seem thicker and weightier than the other letters I've used as well. I do wish there was a box where I could sort the letters, but that would be my only wish. Other than that, I absolutley love this board and so happy that my hard work of looking through all amazon reviews finally paid off!

This is a nice board! Double sided, feels nice and sturdy. The only quibble I have is that I have a couple of "rows" where the indent between them isn't deep enough to hold letters nicely on the edges. Not a huge deal, it's only two spots, close to the edges. But if you're using this board as a public display (as opposed to just photographing it for Instagram, like I do), it's probably a good idea to check all of your rows before you really start using it to make sure they'll hold your letters securely.

Overall, I am very pleased with my letterboard. I like that it came in a sturdy box which is also ideal for storage. I really appreciate that the letters and symbols came pre-cut and organized in the plastic box.The only improvement I would suggest is the block to hold the board be smoothed out. The stand for my letterboard came with a bit of a jagged edge on the inside which should have been sanded down or something. I removed 1 star for that but otherwise, I am very pleased with this purchase.I tried to reach out to the seller with regard to the block but did not receive a response. I note this if you are interested in the customer service for this seller.19AUG19 Update:I reached out to the seller again after my review was posted and the seller quickly sent me a brand new double sided letter board with a perfect stand. I looked at a lot of letter boards and chose this one because of the slightly larger size (12x12), two color options (black on one side, gray on the other), letter organization case, and the support design (sliding "bar" vs. easel). Overall, it is a nice board especially for the price. I was actually going to return it though and just missed the window - by one day (9/30/19)! I emailed the company shortly after receiving the item to notify them of a few shortcomings. The felt is not correct on two of the gray side's corners - on one side it's pulled away; the other is too short - ie, you can see some of the brown underlayer. That's disappointing. The slide support bar is very rough with what appears to be burn marks and a smallish piece that splintered off on the end. A pain and I'm suprised this passed inspection to be packaged, but I can sand it down and make it work. The board is slightly wobbly when in the "support bar", but it is ok and I like it better than the easel design. The letter storage container is a nice idea but there is not a spot for each letter to be organized - several letters, numbers and symbols need to share. Maybe that's how they all are - I didn't look carefully at that when reviewing all the boards. Furthermore, those 24 individual "wells" in the storage container are not labeled. So it's a good idea but falls slightly short in truly being organized and being able to find each letter quickly. I plan to try to label the wells with a Sharpie. The whole ensemble was well packaged. With that said, I missed my return period (busy with basement renovations!) and I'm a little disappointed in the craftsmanship, but that's probably what you get for the price. The black felt side is in very good condition. It is disappointing that I emailed the company shortly after receiving to discuss the above issues I just listed, but they never responded. They even included a card to contact them if one cannot review the item with 5 stars but did not provide an email or way to contact them directly, so I sent my email through Amazon. So... overall a good product, with a few issues....but good for the price. The ones I looked at on Etsy were much more expensive.
