The media could not be loaded. Just installed my new Flexzion Submersible Wave Maker. After something like this was recommended to be beneficial to my wellbeing of my fish and keep my water clean. The wave maker itself seems to work quite well. Even though it would have been nicer if the control for the speed would be on the cable outside of the tank. It made it a bit difficult to adjust because the wave maker itself seems to be not very stable on that holder. Also, the cable is quite stiff. The magnet is so powerful. My goodness. So. So far I am quite satisfied.

The media could not be loaded. Good wavemaker. It is oddly connected to the base. This is the 1100 in a 50 gal tank and works well. I wouldn't advise using in a smaller tank than a 50 gal. Quiet and powerful though. Worth the money. The specs in the pictures are off though. It's not 24 inches x 26 inches. More like 3-1/2 x 3

Actually thought about buying 2 cause I didn't think it'd be enough for my 50gal reef tank. I was most definitely wrong!Had it over a year and bu t another now.

Bought two of these.One for a 46 gal grow out tank and a 55 gal.What a difference. Have sand in all four of my tanks,and adding these made a big difference when it comes to maintaining the fish waste in my tanks.The flow is more than enough.. Ordered another one,the larger size for my 80 gal.The only draw back is the short cord, other than tthat,they're great.

It moves water what more can I say

I use this to circulate the water for oxygen exchange in my 72gal bow front. I used this to replace a powerhead which decided to randomly start backwards half the time. This unit is powerful enough to circulate the water without creating a tsunami. My coolie loaches love playing in the current. The unit is quiet, and starts in the correct direction every time. A couple of minor complaints. First, the 'ball-and-socket' kind of mount is a bit odd, and feels like it won't stay where you want it. If you get it into the desired position, and then stick the suction cup which holds the power cord it seems to work fine and has not moved. I wish the whole unit was black rather than having the 'ball' be blue, since black disappears into the tank better. The magnetic mount is the bees-knees - I hated the fact that the old powerhead which used a big suction cup would fall off occasionally creating the sandstorm in the substrate and freak out the fish. I recommend this unit.

For how inexpensive this thing is I was pretty amazed at how powerful it is. Works excellent for movement and flow, just with no frills at all. It’s plug and go, super simple, and sturdy construction. There’s a little plastic dial that I guess is supposed to be flow adjustment but i can’t get mine to change so i had to use it in my big reef and not the little nano i got it for. It woulda been waaaaaay too much for that, or anything less than like, 30ish gal, depending on what you’re keeping in it. but definitely can’t go wrong for the moola.

REVISED REVIEW: I through it in the trash today. It wasn't working so I tried to clean it again. Try as I might could not bring to back to life. Keep the magnet it may be usful for something.Old: Works okay and direction is easy to adjust but it's hard to clean. Took it apart to clean the impeller and had a hard time geting it back together. Plastic seems very thin and thought I was going to break it.

The media could not be loaded. Using this to produce MASSIVE amounts of algae and biofilm in my unique setup. I m honestly very pleased so far, and the openings make me believe that there s less of a chance any of my fish will go in there. I also have it backed up as the sole module by a UPC battery since here in Montreal we get 3-5 power outages every single year and some can last days. This allows me time to reach the aquarium if I m not home at the time and remove the device within a few hours to not chop up any overly adventurous fish if the battery runs out before the power comes back. I wouldn’t use anything mechanical in an aquarium without some sort of power backup ever if you are aware your area is prone to power outages. 👍

The impeller shaft was put together with the propeller on backwards. My guess is everyone with a 1 star rating saying it chirped and made noise but didn't work, had the same issue. No QA when they built these, I should have opened mine and tested before the return window.
