I liked the bag. It has multiple pockets and places to store items. It was setting up to be the perfect bag for my trip to Disney World. I cleaned it at home with a mild detergent but did not have the forethought to test it before making the trip. I put one liter of water in the first day at Disney and I was told my back was wet...the bag was leaking. I took a look at how a bag could be leaking on my first real use and found a pin size whole. Not cool. I will be returning it for a refund. The backpack itself is quite useful so that earned two stars.Review Revisited: The company reached out to me and rectified the situation in the most courteous manner. I really appreciated how quickly they addressed the problem. There is always the possibility of an issue so I will buy another bag in the future bet I trust this company will do the right thing.

after 2 months of usage. I’m ready to review this pack and I’m giving a big thumbs up! Here’s my feedbacks for ya’ll shoppers.General - I think being reliable is one of the important factors for water backpacks and this one has done it right! I’ve had osprey and camelbaks in the past and the leaking issue still appears here and there. For a hydration pack under $30, and after multiple hiking trips, this one hasn’t let me down yet.Bladder - From experience, I figured that before you use any water bladder, make sure to double check and fasten all the connection points. It will help a lot to avoid potential leakage issues.The Design - The look on this pack is what I love the most. Simple, clean and with a touch of highlight on the zipper and straps. The materials are sturdy. Although the small one AquaRock2100 is a bit thin l on the shoulder strap that may seem a bit cheap. But the ventilation and weight counters it just right. I’ve also own a larger version AquaTitan5200, it has a lot more storage compartments to stuff things in. But the best part is the foam on the back which is super comfortable for longer trip travel.

I like this pack I really do but the reason I'm having to give it 2 stars is really simple. Living in Texas you would like cold water during the summer so I put ice in the bladder before adding water well it has condensation like crazy even while in my truck. The last 3 times I have used this water pack I thought it was leaking cause my truck seat was wet and same with the floor of the truck. Pull out the bladder to find no leaks its sweating like crazy though and enough that there is a puddle of water in bladder pouch and it sweats through to my wallet,phone and other items in the storage part. Great pack if you don't want the water cold now in the market for a new pack.

This bag is terrible.TLDR: leaks everywhere, difficult to fill, 50% air bubbles when you drink.More detailed explanation:Leaking: The bag leaks from the top. For whatever reason, the large screw top just leaks and leaks, no matter how tight you screw it. My husband even tried to salvage it by sealing it with Teflon tape. It helped but we constantly have to retape it. No thanks.We also tried to only fill it halfway, but anytime it tips over, the water gets everywhere again. Plus, that lead to other issues, more below. And we’re not talking about dripping. It leaks like there’s a hole in it.Difficulty Filling: because the bag has no handle of any sort, the “best” way to fill it is to hold the corners and fill, or do it in the backpack. However, this creates other issues, namely more water spillage and air pockets.Air: finally, this bag both leaks and has massive issues with the water spout. Anytime you drink, it’s basically 50% air. Whenever I used it, I always felt super bloated from all the extra air bubbles I was swallowing. We tried creating a vacuum seal, which helped... but then it leaked water everywhere. In short, there’s just no win-win.Is it usable? Barely. May as well get a zip lock bag, like a hole in it, and drink from it. About the same quality.

I got the Chameleon hydration backpack for a weekend backpacking trip to Channel Islands and I'm so glad I did!! We hiked a total of 20+ miles all weekend and the backpack did the work in keeping me hydrated and feeling great all throughout our hikes. Highly recommend it especially as an alternative to the higher end and more expensive packs out there. Also, for reference I'm 5' 1" adult female and the pack's size and weight were perfect for my frame. It has compartments big enough to store your smartphone, snacks and laces to tie a jacket to if needed. Lastly, I didn't experience any leaks or other issues while using the hydration backpack and have continued using it for my long runs as well.

Great customer service. The first bladder leaked. I ordered way back in March and the Amazon "free return" was way past...so I emailed the company and they immediately emailed back and said they had some issues w/ those bladders and had ordered new ones to go w/ the backpacks. They sent me (for free) a new bladder right away! We haven't used the new bladder yet, but I did want to commend the company on their excellent customer service. I love buying from companies that are so responsive to a customer's needs and really want to make it right.
