How?
How is each book in this series toping each other? How's this one had you gasping and yelling on each twist? And lastly, how is this not a movie or tv show yet?

Good Enough Exciting Enough
The 5th Horseman is a great exciting story. This time Lyndsey and crew take on a medical murder mystery. At the same time, SFPO is investigating grisly murders of young women creepily posed in sportscars. Writers James Patterson and Maxine Paetro put together a fast-paced plot that kerps twisting right to the end. There are doke disappointing mistakes and a sudden unsatisfying end, but it doesn't take away from the entertainment of the book.

Fine fluff
Gee, have you noticed how many reviews have the word "fluff" in the title? I think it's because we all know that if you started reading this series, you'll probably keep on reading it, but we all know that it's not exactly great literature. This is a fast, fun, fine installment in an easy-read series, perfect for brainless beach reading. A good friend of mine noted that she was able to read it in half the time it usually takes for a book this size, because many of the chapters are about a page and a half long, and the chapter title pages start in the middle of the actual page. The book could have been easily printed in about half as many pages, so it's not even as "weighty" as its actual weight. But, come on. We knew that going in. You're probably not going to start reading this series on the fifth book, so we all know what we're getting by now. Enjoy it! Wait for the paperback or go to the library if you feel cheated by the fluff in hardback form. Granted, this is not the James Patterson of Along Came a Spider, but again, you should expect that in this series by now. If you already like the series, you'll like the book - if you don't like the series, there's nothing new for you here. If you haven't read the series yet, start at the beginning and then decide.

WOW! The Murder Club!
I love this series, James you have done it again! I would love to give this book 10 stars because it deserves it in a very big way.The twist and turns that have you thinking you know who they are, then darn not the ones.A doctor and a very well known lawyer scheming to take money from a big well known hospital while there is a "Night Walker" going around the hospital killing innocent people and their stay is not life threatening. So the families of 33 people died for unexplained reason that didn't make sense took the Hospital to court and lost. By the lawyer and the doctor that thought up the plan was in thick of it.But at the same time they had to figure out who was killing and raping these college girls going to an escort service to make extra money for rent and school books, putting them in very expensive cars and they have been bathed and dressed in other clothes that are not theirs. This book had 3 different cases at once and one was more twisted than the next.I didn't get any sleep at night wanting to know what was happening next.YOU GOTTA READ THIS IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU!!!!!James Patterson fans "I TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU TO READ THIS BOOK!!!!

You know what youre going to get!!
Presumably if youre reading the 5th Horeseman you will have read numbers 1-4 of the Women's Murder Club. Pattersons style reads like an American TV show with short chapters so that it is easily transferrable to the small screen with plenty of Ad breaks. Normally that would be a criticism but Pattersons books are enjoyable, easy-readers with enough of a plot to get your teeth into. The characters are strong too and the investigations plausible and well thought out. That said, I imagine his books are like Marmite: you either love them or hate them.

... books in this series by a friend and really enjoyed them, very pleased when I found the rest ...
I was given the first three books in this series by a friend and really enjoyed them, very pleased when I found the rest of the series and decided to get them all, making my way through them and really enjoying them all. They are murder cases in America and a group of young women from different public sector jobs get together and call themselves the murder club who try to solve the cases alongside the police investigation, well worth a read

Superb Book and series
I literally love they books, such a gripping story line. Love that the chapters are short so you can easily pick it up and put it down, I say that but to be honest once I start one of these from the series that they have I find it very difficult to leave it alone. I have them in paperback and am now buying them for my kindle as I will return to these time and again. this way I can take them everywhere with me. Give them a go .. I really don't think that you will be disappointed

You'll read it but hate yourself for doing it
The characters are getting worse and worse, and finally I have managed to stop taking these books. I feel like a drug addict who has finally seen how disgusting her habit is and stopped going to the well. Thank god I will never have to read any more of this dreadful prose, these unbelievable characters and their nonsensical dialogue. Never again will I have to read on as increasingly ridiculous scenarios play out and plot lines are mismanaged. What awful nonsense this book was, I'm not buying another of his.
