Amazon Brand – Pinzon 160-Gram Pinstripe Flannel Cotton Bed Sheet Set, Twin XL, Navy Pinstripe

Years ago, my husband and I bought two sets of these Pinzon sheets, 180-gram I think? They were our first flannel sheets and we were hooked. They've lasted for.. gosh, 5+ years. One set finally started getting a little threadbare in a couple spots (helped along by our dog sneaking onto the bed with her claws a time or two, I'm sure) so we went looking for more. Turns out the ones we bought before aren't available anymore, very sad. We kept looking for some that should be about the same and just couldn't find any that checked all the boxes (double brushed, etc etc).We decided to try these out because the pinstripe is nice and because the weight is pretty close to the ones we already have. I'm happy to report that they're great :) Not exactly like the previous 'model' we bought, but close enough that honestly we can't tell unless we're doing a side by side comparison. Still very comfortable, very soft, basically perfect regardless of season, just like the old ones. I'm tempted to get another set just to keep us going for another 5+ years.

Thicker sheets than I expected. Very warm. Expect to be able to turn the thermostat down and save on the heating bill.

Purchased the Pinzon by Amazon 160 Gram Pinstripe Flannel Sheet Set - Full size, in Navy Pinstripe fr just over $30 for the set-a very good deal in my opinion. Washed up the day they arrived (2019 04 18) and I got the usual amount of lint in the dryer from a new set of good quality flannel sheets so that did not alarm me.Pros: Very thick and soft, very good quality flannel. exactly what I was looking for. They look very nice on the bed. We use flannel all year round because it is softer.Cons: The sizes were a little off. The Fitted could have been an inch longer. I squeezed it onto my Full mattress but I fear the corners may give out prematurely? The real issue is the Flat sheet in this set is short. It was supposed to be 96" long and after washing, this one measures 89". For the quality and price, I am willing to turn around and buy a king size set so that I end up with a Flat sheet that will fit my FULL size bed (Honestly I may have done that anyway since my husband tends to steal my blankets so a wider/longer sheet (than sold in a normal Full Size set) usually works, which is why I am still willing to rate these well-you might have a different opinion about that as an issue?). Attached is a photo of where the FULL size one ended up n our bed. As you can see it isn't enough long enough to tuck under this end of the mattress.However, If I buy the King size and that Flat Sheet also ends up short, then I will return these for a refund, and will update this review, as well. I will also update if we get a piling issue on the bottom sheet.Thanks for reading my review. Melody

I absolutely LOVE these sheets. I may be biased because I actually searched for this exact design since I had an idea of what I wanted my kids room to look like. As noted by other reviewers, it does collect some debris and holds it but I vacuum regularly and even though my sons bed is right on the floor (See pics) there isn’t much. I washed when they first arrived and no debris but we’ll see what happens when I wash them again after being used. They’re flannel so I expect certain amount of debris sticking to them during use - it’s just that type of material. I also wanted this material because their room is the coldest in the house. They keep them warm without overheating. They seem like they’ll work for the summer too. My 3yo has sensitive skin and he says they’re very comfortable. Without having slept on them myself I also think they’re very comfortable. I do think they’re a bit pricy for sheets but they’re very well made and I haven’t been able to find anything else like them so I was willing to purchase the two sets. Working on price point would definitely take this from a 4 to a 5 star.

I am very disappointed. These are think, soft sheets. That’s what I wanted and expected from Amazon. But after about a month with them on my bed, they are pilling like crazy.My wife pointed this out to me by saying that the sheets were making the carpet dirty. I had to keep asking her to explain because I thought I wasn’t hearing her correctly or that she was mid-communicating an idea. But, no. There are little blue balls of cotton all around the bed.And then I noticed that when I climb into bed there are so many, and such large, pill balls that they make the sheets feel scratchy.Here is the thing with sheets: thread count and weight don’t matter at all if they are not made of long staple cotton (same with t-shirts. I’ll take 400 count long staple over 1500 count short staple any day.Just in case anyone doesn’t know about cotton length. Long staple uses long fibers while spinning the yarn. So, they stay in place during spinning and weaving. Short staple uses shorter fibers that begin to pull loose from the spun individual threads and from the weave. The ends get rolled up in little balls with the friction of skin over the. And there are hundreds of little hard cotton balls one or two milimeters in diameter spread across the material.It’s not something you can spot until friction or washing pulls the short fibers loose. And it is indicative of penny pinching where the customers can’t tell in the beginning.Amazon really needs to protect their brand by selling long staple cotton sheets—even if they have to charge twice as much.

I really like these sheets. This was the second set that I purchased of this kind. They wash up nicely and feel good to sleep on.

The 180 weight is usually out of stock but for good reason. I think there the best option, winter with a comforter, summer with just the sheet. Can't be beat. These are not in the same category as the 180 sheet set.

I have bought flannel sheets by Pinzon before and liked them. These were cheap and so I figured I'd buy them. They do keep you warm in the winter but they are scratchy and sheets are not supposed to be scratchy so I wouldn't buy these again.

I have ordered two sets of cotton flannel sheets for my queen size bed in the last couple years. These sheets are soft and rich in colour that does not fade. They're a good weight as well. They wear well too. There are two things that I don't like about them: the top sheet does not hang sufficiently over the mattress it seems narrow, the sheet can not be tucked in and consequently does not cover two people properly. Secondly the last set I bought which has now been washed a minimum of a half dozen times still lints! Navy blue lint everywhere, on my bedroom floor in my hair and filling the lint collector in the drier. No doubt it is getting better but there is a lot of lint. I now use two cotton pillow cases and have just simply given up on the flannel ones that come with the sets for the very reason that my long hair gets full of lint as well as my hair brush. Could I suggest to Pinzon to provide regular cotton pillow cases rather than flannel and to make the top sheet 8 inches wider.

Son resistentes, llevan varias lavadas (al menos unas 10) y el color sigue bien, aunque se despelucharon un poquito, pero siguen suaves. No son de la franela más gruesa -tampoco la más delgada- pero eso está bien para mi porque secan más rápido y se lavan mejor en mi lavadora.

Llegarón muy rápido. La calidad y el tamaño son muy buenas. Al lavarlas y secarlas en secadora no cambiaron en nada su aspecto.

Absolutely what i was looking for, so soft and thick. Its hard to buy online not being able to see and feel.. and they are a bit pricey but I've had 3 dreamy sleeps in the set now iam sooo happy i decided to buy.

These pillow cases are hopelessly ill fitting. They are overly long but so narrow, I could barely fit the pillow inside.I bought the King sized. They do not fit even a queen pillow !
