Lasted 16 months in SmartUPS 700
I think the battery's terminals were slightly smaller than on original APC's, but does not seem to be a problem. I like that this battery has a longer warranty (18 months) than original APC's one (1 year), it remains to be seen how long it will last. APC claims 3-5 years life expectancy of theirs, but they have never lasted more than 3 in my experience.UPDATE: the battery had lasted 16 months, before the SmartUPS 700 showed "Replace battery" light. Chrome Battery promptly replaced it under warranty, but I had to buy their return FedEx label for $7 to ship the old battery back.

Leaking after 10 months very light use in APC UPS SU700Net
NG. After very light use (<5% of rated load for UPS for 10 months) unit started overheating -- about 60 C. Opened case as found battery acid leaking on top of batteries. Batteries not swollen and no sulfurous gas odor (yet). Do not buy batteries from these people. Sealed lead-acid batteries are supposed to be SEALED.

Great battery pack
Working like a charm. I've had several power issues out here in the country where I live and the battery pack as kept my equipment up, thereby giving me the time I need to properly shut it down.

Defective product and NO RESPONSE from vendor - Should be ZERO stars
This was a replacement battery for a perfectly functional battery backup unit. I replaced the battery with the wiring properly connected. As soon as I plugged the unit in, it sparked and fried itself. I contacted the vendor via the Amazon website and received NO RESPONSE. This vendor SUCKS!

Happy with the last few chrome batteries
Just replaced a chrome battery with another one. First one lasted a good 2.5 years. Not bad at all, these seem to hold up as well as the name brand APC replacement batteries.

Great Battery
This is the 2nd Chrome replacement battery I have purchased for my computer's APC UPS power backup. The first Chrome battery lasted 5 years - hope this one does to. The battery arrived with a damaged case - it was clear from the package it had been dropped somewhere along the way. I sent pictures to Chrome Battery and they immediately sent a return label and also sent out a new battery. The 2nd one arrived intact and my UPS is up and running again.
