I'm a girl that just loves a great magazine! I do a lot online, but for me, there is just something about getting a magazine at the store, or in the mail, that just tickles me. The newsstand price on most magazines deters me from buying them in stores more often, so I try as often as I can to find a good deal on subscriptions. Every now and then, you find one that you just can't pass up. There are so many fashion and entertainment magazines on the market, it really comes down to personal preference and content. In Style, in my opinion, is one of the best out there. Both in content and value. I love the styling of the magazine, the celebs they get to do interviews and photo spreads, and the fashion, beauty, and makeup advice they offer is invaluable. Also, I feel this magazine is larger and fuller than most others. But, that said, it seems to be more costly than some. I was determined to find a good deal on a subscription this year, and found one on Amazon! I honestly had no idea that Amazon offered magazine subscriptions before searching for this one. This has been the best deal I have ever gotten on a magazine subscription. And, as a result, I searched Amazon and found several more great magazines with excellent subscription deals, both for myself and for my son (who loves cars, video games, etc.). And all of the magazines we purchased on Amazon came quite quickly, and with no problems or hiccups.This was a great buy! If you're like me, and love magazines, check Amazon out and see if they don't beat any other deal you come across!

Hello, first off, I'm a dad and I got this magazine to add to other subscriptions for my daughter as she went from the tweens to the teens to help introduce her to styles and products in the marketplace.Oddly enough, I have benefited a lot being able to recommend many of the products advertised therein to her (we used a Neutrogena face wash this week that actually worked!) and to have some idea what to purchase as gifts for other family members, etcetera.As clothes and cosmetics become more and more expensive it helps to be able to make an informed decision the first time you buy and I enjoy giving many of the products as gifts for birthdays, Christmas, and surprises.The magazine portrays some glitz but really appears to be excellent in its articles, advice, and the products it advertises (editor: cigarette ads are the exception).Having run the gauntlet of women's and girls magazines and read all of them that my daughter subscribed to growing up for content and to discuss ideas with her, I recommend this for women and teens.Be sure to order from Amazon, as I had major problems trying to give a gift subscription from InStyle's website as their site placed the order when I did NOT complete the order process and billed my friend instead of me and instead of being a surprise it was a month of wasted time back and forth with e-mails cancelling subscriptions and all the while they stated that I should notify so-and-so if I was displeased, but so-and-so NEVER got back to me, what a total mess!

In Style is a fashion magazine for real people who look for inspiration from the latest of fashion trends, but want to make them their own. There's great advice on creating new looks with cosmetics and hair products.All of this is beautifully done with gorgeous photographs and a cool layout that is fun to flip through over and over again. In essence, InStyle is a cool magazine to subscribe to if you're looking for some light, escapist fun, fashion inspiration and eye candy. I look forward to every issue, and would certainly recommend it to a friend. It also makes a great gift subscription for any occasion!

I read this magazine in the doctor's office and if you are interested in fashion, makeup and trends then this is the magazine for you! I find that the magazine is an easy read for any age. I am over 40 and just loved it. The only problem is............I placed my order through Amazon 4 weeks ago and I still have not received my first magazine. I think it is silly that I have to wait 6-10 weeks from placing my order to receive my first copy. They have my money so I guess I just wait. I do want to add that the deal I got was an exceptional value. This is a thick magazine (think Cosmo) and will keep you entertained for hours.

If one could get only one subscription to a fashion magazine, I would recommend InStyle. It's current, imaginative, and highly relevant to women of all ages. While Vogue may be considered the fashion bible, showcasing the latest looks from the runway, its general viewpoint is a big avant garde and not the most practical for the average woman. InStyle finds a way to break down all of the latest looks and reveals how one can incorporate a look inspired by couture into an everyday wardrobe. Exceptional photography, interesting interviews, and good documentation of the happenings in hollywood all done in a highly tasteful way. Brilliant! :)
