keystrokes feels like a high quality laptop pretty
As a graphic designer & Programmer I've tried all kind of combos and this one (that I never heard of RAPOO) got my attention for the sleek & stainless steel keyboard & very well design mouse to rest your hand when working for long periods.PROS:1) Quallity of the combo is really impressive. 2) On the keybard, keystrokes feels like a high quality laptop pretty, neat.3) The mouse with the simple DPI swich on top, makes it really easy for regular use or design without setting anything else. the zoom bottoms cool & practical & the classic back & forth bottom next to your thumb very practical. 4) Battery swtch on/off with an easy double AA replacement (Im not fan of rechaergable because its not practical for design & long periods of heavy use).CONS:No a big deal but the strip on top the keyboard (like someone already mention before) you have to physically touch it to make it work. again, no a big deal but can be improved.

A well made keyboard
I like the keyboard. Love the quality feel with the aluminum keys and frame. Very thin and stylish. A well made keyboard.

This Rapoo keyboard/mouse combo works excellent: no range issues or other lag issues noticed
Replaced 2 Logitech keyboards (2.4GHz) with this model due to intermittent range problems. PC sits next to a new ASUS wireless router and I have been reading about potential interference issues at the 2.4 GHz band. Keyboard is about 10 feet from the PC and neither of the 2 Logitech keyboards/mouse were able to work properly (even with new batteries). This Rapoo keyboard/mouse combo works excellent : no range issues or other lag issues noticed. Also has a solid design with a metal back plate and feels very sturdy with a sleek design.Deducting 1 star for missing ergonomic features.

This review is for the Auawak Rapoo 8900P/E9270P.
This review is for the Auawak Rapoo 8900P/E9270P.Overall the experience of using this keyboard and mouse is pretty disappointing. The keyboard is glitchy. Occasionally I find that modifier keys don't work when pressed (ctrl-c just puts out a "c") or stop working midway through using them. Sometimes held keys don't perform typematic repetition correctly and a single press of a key will often "bounce" and two of the same character will appear when one was typed. If I'm working it's frustrating because my error rate is pretty much triple what I get with any sort of wired keyboard. And when gaming, my scores are lower due to key glitch at critical moments.Pros: The keyboard has an attractive aluminum styling and svelte thinness to it. The full scale proportions of the keyboard are a welcome benefit as are the haptic feedback vibrations provided on the multimedia touch spaces.Cons: The keyboard plays games with what you're typing and introduces errors. The illuminated touch-keys for the multimedia controls are annoying and impractical. These "keys" are actually just spaces on the top of the keyboard that respond to being touched by illuminating with an amber light and changing the volume or some other multimedia function. The problem here is you can't see what multimedia function you've touched until you've already touched it. What on earth were they thinking? The mouse has a combination of slick, tapered sides and extra weight. So picking up the mouse without changing your grip can require some extra effort. This is not good because in "real life" you have to pick up the mouse frequently when you run out of room on the mouse pad. Mice need to be engineered to be picked up easily without having to "break stride" with your current work flow while you think about adjusting your grip or pinching it unusually hard to overcome the extra weight and tapered/slick sides.Overall both items have massive engineering faults and are barely usable. I'm returning these products.

This keyboard is nice in aesthetics but types terribly
This keyboard is nice in aesthetics but types terribly. Constant ghosting (multiple keystrokes recognized when hitting a key once) and often recognize when I do hit a key. I would not recommend anyone purchase this keyboard.

Not great
I like the keyboard, but HATE the mouse. It's almost too large for my hand, and I find I have to hold my hand at an uncomfortable angle to have the mouse work properly. I also don't like all the extra buttons on the side and top. Very disappointing.

NO backlit keys
My actual ating is just 3.5 on this one!! But just ai was unable to do that rating, it landed up on 3 stars. The reason is am a bit DISAPPOINTED on NOT having a backlit keyboard as it was advertised here. Its a false information that if your fingers come near rhe touchpad, it lights up whereas it DOES NOT even do that when finhers actually touch the keys. I usually work at nights and since my Toshiba keypad are no use now, I had to order this one. I could have given full 5 stars as its awesomely sleek & ulra design packed with batteries & a mouse which is super attractive too. But alas, taking out 2 stars because of the false info on backlit keypad!!
