Pros: Portable and light. You can use it battery only, or connect the usb charger all the time.Cons: No way to adjust the alarm volume except after the alarm starts. I.e., there's not way to have it wake to light only. The color is the same during wake-up rather than starting with a more amber color and shifting to a more blue color. I woke up 10 minutes into the wake-up. If I were to leave right away, the alarm would go off after I already left early in the morning, possibly awakening the neighbor in the apartment above me who is a light sleeper. I usually get up at 5:00 AM.

This has sound. And the sound of the birds chirping works to get up out the bed. They start off softly and then get louder. Then the lights kick in. The only downside to this is the instructions. It took a while to figure out how to set the sound. I

This little light really works for my wife who could sleep through a mock 10 engine starting up next to her. The light however comes to life very subtle then very bright and does the job.

first couple of times, couldn't get it to turn off. Should have read the instructions better, my bad. You'll know it, it twitters like birds.

It's just so so. Very basic model don't expect a lot of bells and whistles. Pain to charge; that's right, charge.

The sounds with the alarm do not always work. The light goes on, but no birds.I can't depend on it. Thinking of sending it back.

I bought this for my 94 year old Mother who wanted to wake up gently in the morning. She loves it.

The sounds for the alarms are great. The rain mode for the night alarm for example is perfect and sounds just like the really thing.
