Specification: Lens enlarge Power Handle Accessories: Shade cover: 1 piece Operations: 1.After cleansing skin, cover client’s eyes with wet cotton. 2.Secure cover shade to wood lamp. 3.Completely cover client’s face with cover shade. The wood lamp should be parallel to client’s face with distance of 15-20cm. 4.Identify different skin characteristics by appearances of different colours under the ultraviolet ray. Methods of Performing Wood Lamp Light blue – normal and healthy skin Yellow – oily, acne skins Brown – pigments White spots –mature skin area Purple – sensitive skin Reflecting light spot – impurities, make-up Indigo – dry skin Cautions: 1 The wood lamp should be parallel to client’s face with distance of 15-20cm. Do not over-expose to the wood lamp since the ultraviolet ray may darken pigments or make skin more sensitive. Maximum duration should be 2 minutes. 2. Cover client’s eyes with wet cotton to avoid making client’s eyes tired.

It works fine once you removed the back plastic plate.It is not easy to see because the plastic isn't clear much.So I remove the back plate every time I use.I am not sure should I use with the plastic back plate or not...

Awesome Light
Bought this for issue with ringworm on my cats. The light is better than expected- works very well, is well made and could be used by an MD in so far as the quality is concerned. It magnifies and is very easy to use and see with. I was very pleased with this light and would highly recommend it for others.

Bad product and bad service. Be aware they do not even respond properly. Not satisfied with the product at all.

Getting used to it
A user guide would be more helpful than the single sheet included. The hood is a nice addition to the lamp so that it can be used without being in darkness.

Works just as well as higher priced professional models
I got this lamp for my daughter to check for head lice after her 6 year old daughter came home from school with them. The lamp was a lot larger and heavier than I thought from just the picture. Works really well when used in a dark room with all other external lights off. Because of size, can be a little bulky to use but not significantly so. Lamp is essentially a black light with a small power magnification window to better see the skin.
