La Crosse Technology 404-3261-INT Adjustable Floating Dial Black Wall Clock

I wanted a clock with a second hand in the bathroom for timing purposes, but I didn't want something 'classic' nor did I really need to tell the time. This clock is just great, so minimal, very accurate, and yes, it does tell time. I did not mount the hour markers, I just hung it on the wall the way it is.Quick disclaimer. My clock came with the magnet in the mount BACKWARD, so that the mount magnet was obverse to the clock magnet. I had to pry the magnet out as it is glued in. After I flipped it, I just pressed it back in and all was good. Poor QC, but the damn thing is so unique you have to grin and bear it.

At $15 shipped, I'd say you are getting at least what you are paying for. I happened to get a screaming deal thru Amazon Warehouse, but regardless for $15 you can see what it looks like on the wall above a door way for reference. Easy to read and installation wasn't too bad, just had to carefully place the stencil/template down and ensure centered and level, then the rest was pretty easy. So far after ~2mos usage the clock is surprisingly accurate so far and only gripe is due to DST, we have to climb up and remove the center portion twice a year and move the clock by 1hr and when hanging the center clock mechanism back on the hanging post, just have to be careful it doesn't lay rotated clockwise or counter-clockwise slightly as that would obviously throw off the minutes hand. So in short, just have to be careful that twice of year or after changing batteries, but otherwise we've gotten only positive comments about the look. I can understand others may want something more substantial, and if prepared to pay for that, there are definitely better options out there for that, but for basic usage, this is so far nice for the dollars spent.

I thought I would receive a durable long lasting product; not paperweight stickers. Clearly not for a well maintained furnished home.
