The Valor Fitness CB-31 Bicep/Tricep Arm Machine can be used with standard plates with 1â center hole or Olympic plates with 2â center hole when using the included Olympic adapter.

It has a decent range of motion. I don't mind it. Granted the life science at the gym was better but the price is 4 times that so you have to take into account what you're getting. I worked out 5 days a week at a gym for 8 years. Slowly bought everything I needed and I don't regret it. Best answer I can give ya

Q: Did Valor recently dramatically change the design for this CB-31? because the older reviews are terrible.

I don't know the older one but I don't mind the machine I worked out at a gym for 8 years and finally created a home gym. This isn't a life fitness or cybex machine so it def isn't as good as a real piece of gym equipment but you're also talking 1/3-1/4 of the price. The grip structure is a but funky but after a few times of using it you adjust to it.
