Now you can have beautiful nails every day.PreparationBefore you get going, watch the DVD for tips and techniques.Your working area should be a flat surface covered with a towel or disposable covering.Prepare the forms by selecting one at a time and position over each nail to check they fit. Prepare your nails by removing jewellery and washing and drying your hands thoroughly. Gently push back the cuticles with the cuticle pusher, lightly buff over the nail surface, file and shape the free edge of the natural nail, brush away any dust then brush over the nail using the nail prep to remove all oils.ApplicationApply the extension tips by selecting a tip for the nail that fits neatly against the free edge of your existing natural nail; repeat for each nail. Keep the extensions in the order in which they will be applied to the nails. Apply a drop of nail glue onto the free edge of the natural nail. Hold the tip at an angle to the free edge, press and hold the tip in position for about five seconds, cut and file to the required length. The press and pop method is quick and simple Position the chosen form over the nail and mark an end line on the form where the nail extension ends. Brush over your natural nail using the nail primer; repeat on all nails. Mix a small amount of acrylic liquid and acrylic powder into the form. Position the filled form onto the nail, press with gentle-- but firm--pressure and hold in place gently for about one minute. Leave this in place while you work on the other nails. Then pinch the sides of the form and hey presto… the form pops off, leaving a flawless surface. Rio Pop acrylic nails can be applied in under an hour Finally, simply neaten the free edge and sides using the file and massage a little bit of cuticle oil into each nail to condition your nailbeds.Top tipsRemember that the most common cause of nail enhancements lifting is poor nail preparation. Try to meticulously remove all residual cuticle cells from the nail plate before proceeding to the next stage--and don’t touch the nail plate after the preparation stage, to prevent contamination with skin oils.To maintain your nail extensions, file the seams and around the free edge regularly between infills. Apply a little cuticle oil to the nails nightly, and massage into the cuticle. Apply hand moisturiser at least once a day and if changing your nail varnish colour, use a gentle polish remover without acetone.Removing Rio Pop acrylic nailsTo remove the nail tips, you will need to submerge the fingertips in some acetone solution or nail varnish remover containing at least 90% acetone.
