Q: I cannot open the battery compartment at the bottom . the screw keep spinning but does not come loose. how does it open? - joe griffin 08--8-2018

The screw has to be completely unscrewed out of the unit. Maybe the metal receiver is spinning or the lock snap ring is missing.

Q: Does this device work with the mgrs or military grid reference system?

If I could send a pic. Unit shows using MGRS grid system as an option

Q: Can i buy a new battery pack for this gps?

They only have a battery tray for two AA batteries that screws into the unit. If anyone has one it will be expensive. I have only one.
