Log Barn Kiln-Dried Ash Hardwood for Wood Burner, Grate, Fire Pit - Approx. 9.6kg (1 x 30L Net)

The logs arrived bang on schedule. We used them in a smoker barbecue; they lit easily and burned well. Above all, they burned *steadily*, giving a beautifully consistent and controllable temperature, as well as a lovely oak-smoked flavour with the vents half-closed. Not cheap, but a very fair price indeed for a very good product. Our only faint quibble was the plastic mesh bag in which they arrived within the box - it's light and strong, but fibrous; be careful to pull off any snags of mesh that stick to the logs. All in all, though, a great buy.

Good product fair price

Was originally sceptical to buy fire wood online of course, but really happy with this overall. I think it's a bit expensive, but you get a fair amount of logs in the pack, and they burn really well. Have ordered about 3 more times since! Would recommend!

Probably got about 12 logs. Pretty small, a few like kindling. Good quality but paid £13 after a voucher and still felt very pricey. Won't be restocking with these

Nice thick chunky logs, 3/4 were a large size, the rest were small/medium thickness. About 8-10 logs per sack. Dry as a bone. All logs in perfect condition. Burned beautifully and for a good amount of time. Gave off loads of heat. As the logs burned down, they kept their shape, continued to give off plenty of heat. After about 90 mins to 2hrs, the logs started to break down (as expected) the embers continued to retain their glow and continued to kick off heat. I purchased 2 bags of logs and they lasted us around 6-7 hours. Basically the whole evening/night. We threw them on unhurriedly throughout the night. Fire pit still had warmth and embers in the morning. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be re-purchasing. Very happy.

I have had a wood burner for many years and usually buy kiln dried wood locally. However, I’m currently incapacitated and unable to leave my home. As an Amazon customer for what seems like forever, I decided to buy this wood and have it delivered to my home. I bought two bags, WHAT A MISTAKE! Do not buy it, it’s a total rip off. This wood is not kiln dried! It is smaller than the average size sack of logs. The wood does not burn, it smokes, and remains solid. It’s a complete waste of money. I feel aggrieved that I have been ripped off with this product and am disappointed that Amazon are allowing charlatans to sell their sub standard good via their respectable selling forum. Trust me, this wood is a waste of money!

Got a log burner installed by a specialist. Bought some logs from a garage and was very disappointed as it just went all black and the glass was covered in a black mist.... I read a few atricals and lots of comments about it being poor wood. I then bought these from amazon with next day delivery... All I can say is what a fantastic product... Not only to they burn well and last a while they have also cleaned my log burner showing the colour of the fire prick again... Very happy customer and WILL be ordering again!!

The heat output is great but the logs spit quite a lot and on the expensive side. I left the door on my wood burner open while I was putting a log in and the wood in the burner spit out a chip of wood. We didn't realise it straight away as the chip flew about 2 meters across the sitting room and left a big burn mark in the carpet, luckily it wasn't the sofa.

Das Holz ist gut getrocknet und brennt wunderbar. Ebenso auch sehr lange.

Il brûle correctement dans la cheminée mais les morceaux sont très petits . C'est très très très cher pour 10 morceaux de bois !!!!!!!!!

Ich wollte das Holz zu Dekozwecken verwenden. Als es dann da war und ich abends nach Hause kam (mein Mann hatte das Päckchen entgegen genommen), roch es schon in der ganzen Wohnung furchtbar modrig. Ich machte mich auf die Suche und identifizierte schlussendlich das Paket als den Urheber des Gestanks. Beim öffnen stellte ich fest, dass das Holz sehr feucht und vermutlich deswegen teilweise mit grünem Schimmel überzogen war. Von der Größe her wäre es für meine Idee gut gewesen aber da ich Asthmatiker bin, kann ich mit schimmeligem Holz beim besten Willen nichts anfangen.
