The metal construction is much sturdier than the cheaper plastic ones. It holds my iPhone 13 in its thicker case very well. The only thing is that the tightening screws are backwards (ie turn left to tighten them) but still work fine.

I purchased a different tablet holder and it was extremely flimsy and broke during the first day. This tablet and smart phone holder is extremely well built and will hold a large iPad and can be adjusted to almost any angle so you can see when the sun is overhead. I most heartily recommend and if I could give more stars I would!

I've been using this with my Mavic 2 Pro and Galaxy Tab A 10.1 for about 3 weeks now and it's been flawless.The mount is fully adjustable and will adjust to accommodate any angle and will work with a phone or tablet. It fit my 10" with a case on it, I actually removed one of the arms with the provided tools to make it a little more compact.The neck strap I didn't think I'd use, but once I did I see why people like them.The over quality is good, and appears to be made out of good materials, I don't think there will be an issue with it not holding up with normal use.

It's been almost a month since I bought it, because the epidemic has never been able to go out and test my drone. I went out and tried it today. This shelf is really easy to use. It solves the problem that my phone is too big to install, and the workmanship and materials are very good.

I've gone through several of these. The plastic on the others was just not cutting it. So far this thing has been bullet proof. It just works! I fly my drone several times a week for work and this is a necessary tool for me!

Pretty nicely designed mount. The craftsmanship is excellent, however it appears that the mount I have received is missing the black round gasket at the main assembly.. The image (copied from Amazon) of the missing part is attached...After speaking to the HiBloks Customer Support, missing part was sent, no questions asked.Changing my review rating to 5 stars.

Loved this product, but keep in mind; they must develop a product for this item to block out the light. It is hard to use when there is too much sunlight. I totally realize that when using a drone in sunlight (the phones) display / visibility will be affected by any light and whatever type of mount you use will not matter.This is the reason I ask (is there a sunlight cover) for this product?

The lower swivel point nearest the controller is incapable of supporting the weight of a new iPad 7th gen. While the rest of the adjustable swivel points can be hand tightened using the available lever, there is no lever on the lowest one - it can only be tightened using an Allen key, and the backside nut (prob 7mm) is difficult to impossible to reach with a socket, depending on available tools. I own and tried a wide range of sockets; either the socket barrel is too wide to fit inside the recessed area where the nut is located, or I couldn't find any metric or standard size that matched. I took the mount to Lowe's, where a salesperson was kind enough to open every packed socket set trying to help me find a fit - zero luck...and we checked EVERY conceivable product in the store. There's also an fixed alignment pin where the two sides interlock with the locking bolt, and closer examination shows that it may be impossible anyway to tighten this swivel point with this current design. I'm not sure why the mfg did not also include a tightening lever on the lower swivel point. With the two top-most swivel points locked down, the lowest swivel point near the base (that inserts into the controller grips) becomes the area on the mount where the greatest weight or stress is applied for holding a regular sized tablet. Frankly, I ordered in haste due to the relatively large number of positive reviews but, unfortunately, I only noticed the negative review pointing to this problem after it arrived. Also, the instructions leave A LOT to be desired. I resorted to re-reading the reviews looking for photos showing how it should be done - the pictorial instructions that came with the product could be much better, IMO. So, while this mount is good start on what could be a great design, the mfg's failure to provide a better way to tighten the lowest swivel point makes it impractical for owners of regular sized iPads or similarly weighted tablets. The product was excellent, my only issue was that I believed that it was available in Australia, but was sent from the USA and with postage, cost twice the price.
