Excellent quality, easy to assemble, expensive
The Cansporter was easy to assemble and install on my Nissan Titan. It is highly adjustable to fit most any vehicle including ATV/UTVs with a hitch receiver as well as Trucks and SUVs that are higher than normal. I take two cans out using this and have had 0 problems loading and unloading them. It is made of thick gauge steel that has survived 1200+ feet of gravel and curving driveway. My only complaint is the price, but when there aren't any other options out there even close, you can justify paying the premium. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a dual can transporter.

Cansporter - Easiest and Best way to transport garbage and recycling cans
Love my 'Cansporter' -- it is the best device around! After the move from the suburbs to the country I was faced with getting my cans from the house out to the main road for pickup. The first time I wheeled the can down the gravel bumpy drive out to the main road and woke up all the dogs in the surrounding country side at 6 AM. Next few times I loaded it into the back of my car. But due to the weather in the NW it was a hassle putting in and getting out for pickup. Online research discovered the 'Cansporter' and I couldn't be happier. Hubby put it all together and I practiced loading it into the hitch and working the levers to attach and detach the cans. Piece of cake! This ex 70+ year old city girl highly recommends it!

Don’t know what I’d do without it
I have a long, gravel driveway and it’s always been such a pain to drag my trash can and recycle bin to the curb every week. Our property is also a bit hilly so sometimes it’s a little exhausting dragging our heavy garbage bins all the way down there. Not to mention the weather here in NE Ohio. I installed this on our golf cart and it’s a game changer. The only thing I’ve noticed, and this is probably the fault of the golf cart, not the carrier, is that the bins can be heavy enough to make the bins drag on the ground. Nothing a little bungee cord can’t fix, but again, I think it’s due to the golf cart and it’s rear suspension. Overall extremely satisfied and impressed with whoever came up with the design of this. Worth every penny.

Steep driveway, no problem
I have quite a steep driveway and my son in law has been taking the trash cans down to the street for about a year. I felt so bad that I looked for something to make the job easier. He says this works perfect. It was helpful that he's handy and already had a trailer hitch on his truck.

Quarter mile gravel lane. Easy routine now.
Carrier is well designed and sturdy. Well written instructions for assembly. Dual carrier is light enough, mounting to class III hitch is no problem. Install the carrier Sunday night, carry two large containers to the road. Monday afternoon drive down to retrieve them. Dismount the unit and set in corner of garage for next Sunday.

Not obvious in the pictures, but the can mounts tilt so you don't have to lift
ASSEMBLY: It took me about an hour to put everything together, so don't try to do this the morning of garbage day. Set aside some time on the weekend when you can celebrate with a cold beer afterwards. A number of things about this are adjustable when you put it together - the positions of the two can mounts are adjustable by a few inches either way, and the entire crossbar is adjustable on the hitch by about eight inches up (and if you reverse the direction of the hitch to point down, it's adjustable by about that much downward for your big pickemup truck). It's not clear how to guess the correct way to assemble all of this by just looking at your hitch distance from the ground and eyeballing it. I ended up assembling the crossbar and then using just one screw to hold it on the hitch while I figured out the right height.USAGE - NO LIFTING REQUIRED:One of the things that's not clear until you assemble everything is that the two can-mounts tilt forward about 45 degrees, so you can roll the can up to the tilted mount, tilt the can back, get the mount hooked on your can, and then just push on the back of the can to use the mount as a lever to lift the can up. Everything locks into place and you're done *without having to lift*.
