Neil Diamond: The Christmas Special

I loved everything about it from the music, the clothes, set decorations, the musicians, and especially the children’s choir.I loved how it all flowed together. Oh, and Neil Diamond is so special. My family and I watch it every year at the beginning of the holidays. It truly is spectacular. We love Neil so so much.

Still the best of ANY Christmas special EVER produce. I really wish it could have come out in dvd format. I've bought several vhs tapes; they don't last very long.

I remember clearly watching/listening to this program when it was first run on TV back in 1992. I was amazed and heartened by the beauty and power of Neil's singing of Christmas carols. This coming from a Jewish man no less. I was so happy to obtain a VHS copy of this concert several years ago. I am watching/listening right now (Dec 25, 2009). It holds up so well over the years. I still get so inspired when he sings "O Holy Night" that I get goosebumps. I highly recommend this video to any lover of Christmas carols and any Neil Diamond fan. Absolutely excellent!

This VHS should be dubbed to a DVD. I would purchase at least one - maybe two I watch it about twice every Christmas

I first saw this vhs when it first came on TV and I was very pleased to find it for sale. My parcel arrived sooner than expected. I have been to every Neil Diamond concert when he comes to Sydney Australia, I love all the input he and his band put into the concerts and find this Chrismas vhs just as enjoyable. It is very pleasent to watch and listern to. I just wish Neil would make a new Christmas dvd.If you are a Neil Diamond fan you will enjoy this vhs.

The Best Christmas Show out there! This one stands the test of time and is happy and fun. It has a wide variety of music. We watched this over and over during Christmas. So glad to have this on our shelf.

The VHS tape met my expectations. The content was great, as Diamond's work always is, but the quality of the audio and video was the usual poor quality. I looked everywhere and could not find this program on DVD. I know it was a 1993 performance, but I can't imagine why this wasn't released on DVD video with Dolby Pro Logic Audio! I transferred it to DVD, but the quality just wasn't up to snuff even when up-converted in my Sony Blu-Ray player. That wasn't the sellers responsibility. They did their job well.

Wanted it especially since Neil cancelled his worldwide tour due to Parkinson's disease as the family recorded it years ago and that tape fell apart this Christmas...thrilled to have it
