The media could not be loaded. I read several reviews that said that these silicone bands are not very strong. Not true. These silicone bands are very strong! I don't buy silicone bands instead of rubber bands because they're necessarily stronger. I buy them because they last a lot longer. Rubber bands become dry rotted and brittle and fall apart. These don't. I am very satisfied with this product

I work with platinum-cure silicone, which means the materials I use have to be the same kind or else it can cause problems with the silicone curing properly. These rubber bands are real platinum-cure silicone and are great! They're not as robust as your normal rubber bands, but if you need something to hold a mold shut without having to worry about it getting contaminated and messing with your casts, these work great!

These won't rot like rubber bands, but they are quite thin at 1/16 x 1/32". I used them for small bundles of extra pens and markers, wrapping them around twice. But I had to use at least 2 bands per bundle because they are so thin. Two broke immediately, but I tied them. Update: These have been used a lot more than expected, and no more broke, so I increased my rating from 3 to 4 stars. The best thing is they don't deteriorate from age.

When I first got them I thought they were too thin and probably not very useful. But over time I've found them to be VERY handy in ways not expected. And if I need something thicker, 2 at a time often works.One thing I really appreciate is that, since they are silicone, I can use them in ways that I'd be afraid to use normal rubber bands: for delicate things that might be harmed and discolored from the chemicals (e.g. sterling silver, acid-free paper, seeds and spore.) And no rotting over longs periods.Recommend!

Many of these rubber bands break right away. So have to test each one before using.

I bought these not to tie things with, but to wear on my wrist and snap as needed. They're really sturdy, they don't snap back with much force however.

Crappy thin bands that break when you try to stretch them at all. They look pretty though. I have broken more of these bands trying to use them than I have actually used them so far. I think they forgot to include the part that stretches. ;-) Nice bright colors, if you are just using them for art or something.

I purchased these to gather colored pencils by color. Over 1/2 of the bands snapped. Flimsy. Poor quality.

So thin they hurt my fingers to stretch them over anything.
