Seems like a great comb, but arrived either defective or having been used. When I took the comb out of the unsealed sleeve, it had a white substance on the tooth closest to the handle. See photos. It appeared to be dry. Weird.

For someone with a long bushy beard, I think this comb would work very well. I don't always keep my beard long so when I trim it, I found the comb to be a little large. (the teeth are longer and spaced further apart than my current comb) I definitely like the appearance of the comb with its sleek, modern marble design. The handle is comfortable and easy to hold, giving it good maneuverability. After use, my hair looks tidy, neat, and smooth - no tangling or static. When I used it on my beard, before it was trimmed, using the comb prevented me from having that 'crazy mountain man' look. My beard was neat and smooth looking. Overall, this is a great product and definitely suitable for those with longer beards. If you keep your beard short and still use a comb for your hair, this will get the job done and leave you with good results.

A little expensive, but works very well and seems to be high quality. I use it on thick, curly hair and it handles smoothly. It's strong, smooth acetate, so I expect it will be durable, but have only had it for a few months - so we'll see.

This is an exceptional comb, comparable in every way to Kent.I have owned several Kent combs over the years. I purchased this Wahl comb on the recommendation of my stylist. If it did not have "Wahl" stamped on it, I would have assumed it was a Kent comb. I even put it side-by-side by one of my older Kent combs and found the acetate was the same weight and thickness, right down to the millimeter.What I like about this Wahl comb is the size. It's just right -- not too big or too small. The teeth are well-polished with no seams at all and have perfect spacing. This is a comb that will last years with minimal upkeep.The price is also substantially better than most Kent combs. Wahl may be my new comb brand moving forward.

The Rake Comb felt great on my head. The bristles were strong, but didn't hurt my head. They didn't feel flimsy or like they were going to break like other combs I have had. Additionally, I really liked the spacing of the bristles. They gave my hair an airy look that was not matted/flatted down on my head. After using the comb, my hair still have life and it showed.The handle was strong and gave me a lot of control to style my hair in a variety of way including easily giving it a part.Size was perfect for storing in my cabinet or in gym bag. It didn't get in the way. Because the comb was made of strong/sturdy material I didn't have fear that it would break on my bag and it did not.I loved the color of the comb. It had personality unlike standard black combs that seem generic and less efficient.

Rating = 4.5 stars. This comb is slighter smaller than the traditional, black afro comb that I, as a Black man, is most familiar. As such, for me, it works great as a beard comb--read 5 star rating--and a little less so for a coronavirus-inspired afro comb--read 4 star rating. Having said that, I do comb my hair with it; I just have to be mindful of potential tangles on the initial comb throughs. Aesthetically speaking, a good-looking comb; so, glad that I purchased 2 and would purchase again if necessary.

Although somewhat pricey, the Wahl Rake Comb is a fine addition to any man’s grooming kit.It features a lengthy handle that is easy to grasp due to its slightly arced design.The teeth of the rake comb are evenly spaced and provide a pleasant feel when in use in the beard, mustache, etc..The rake is made of a heavy duty plastic and has a substantial feel and appearance. It’s color is a rich looking tortoise shell.’I would recommend the Wahl rake comb for any man that cares about his facial hair and the tools he utilized to maintain it.

I received my Rake Comb fairly swiftly after ordering. The packaging was slim and simple, comb and receipt inside. The comb comes in a open top plastic sleeve like packaging that’s pretty convenient. You can also reuse it. This makes the sleeve a good place to store the comb and can easily slide out or back in after use. I would recommend this comb to anyone growing a beard and concerned with keeping it neat and groomed. Worth it.
