JETechCase for iPad Mini 1 2 3 (Not for iPad Mini 4), Smart Cover Auto Wake/Sleep (Rose Gold)

Very slim, light, well fitting case that protects front, back and edges of the iPad mini (2). Good sturdy upright position when using the flip lid as a stand. Much better (IMHO) than the greatly more expensive 'smart cover' from Apple which only protects the screen (hence I have a dink in my surround from a drop), and keeps popping off the side when the magnet loses grip.Good value, and a lifetime guarantee to give confidence of longevity. All ports freely available. Grey colour well represented in picture.

This could be thought of as good value, and should protect you iPad from damage if dropped. But there are several gaps in such a basic design. Compared to the cover I had on a previous tablet, drawbacks to this one include1) The options to have your tablet propped up open to view videos (upright) or type (almost flat) are limited to a single position for each. Other covers offer more & better options.2) Though the inner surface is soft to protect the screen, when using it to prop up like this, it will pick up any crumbs/mess on the table.3) The edges of the cover are slightly sharp which you’ll feel when holding the iPad as you use it. Worse, they make adjusting the volume & screen rotation buttons much more fiddly than other covers.In summary, if I was buying one again I’d look for a different one.

So far so good. It fits perfectly on my iPad mini 2 and seems to be good quality. Never bought one of the expensive covers from Apple to make a proper comparison but so far it does what it's supposed to do: cover the iPad and lock/unlock with the lid.Read the review about breaking it very quickly. Will update in case it happens.UPDATE: it broke a corner after a fall, 2 years after purchase. Shortly after, 2-3 weeks, the other corder fell apart as was not able to stand the "load". Bought again the same cover.

I have purchased many cases for iPads and all of the non Apple branded product do seem to falter in some way, however this product is perfect it has a strong magnet in the folding part that allows for the case to stand up and when closed/open initiates the sleep/wake function saving battery on my device.I am very happy with this as it works like the apple products but with the addition of rear and corner protection for the device. It fits really secure and snug and feels very good quality so i am really pleasantly surprised and happy.

I bought this to replace my old Apple cover which was getting very tatty after a few years' use. The new one is sturdy and protects the iPad well, plus the zingy colour means I can't easily mislay it! The only downside it that, because it covers the back as sell as the screen, the stand-up facility is not as secure as the previous cover - it collapses more easily. A minor niggle, perhaps, but I knock one star off for that.

The case looks neat and tidy; the finish is good and it fits my iPad Mini perfectly. The clip edges which secure it to the iPad are much the same as a few others I have seen. The outer surfaces are good to the touch, as is the faux suede inside of the cover. I prefer the soft hinge to the metal ones on some cases.The case protects the front and rear very well, but the corners of the iPad are still a bit vulnerable; it's not a heavy duty case. If you're a little nonchalant and tend to let your tablet slip off the sofa, the corners will break off and it will no longer hold the iPad securely.I don't use the case to stand the iPad up in the more vertical position, because I don't really trust that it won't fall over.In conclusion: if it protected the corners better and stood up properly, it would get five stars!

Wife's original 'Apple' case had started to split so got her this as a replacement. Holds her iPad nice and securely and the sleep/wake up function works just as well as on her original case. Admittedly it is not quite the same as the more expensive case she had before but in her words the extra £s for the Apple case would be an extravagance we could do without.

Looks exactly like the picture and very good quality at the price. Grey finish looks smart and case adds very little thickness to the ipad.I've had 3 of these and the fault is always that the lower left corner (with flap on left) snaps off due to the strain on it from holding the weight of the cover flap from the corner of the ipad.Not the easiest case to hols when walking since the finish is smooth and a bit slippery.
