Update: Over one year later, this machine is still going strong for me! I absolutely LOVE this machine! Everything you need to know is in this YT video by this young lady https://youtu.be/upZ8DnxcHtw From my own experience, I’ll write my review in two parts: ZENSTYLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - Super happy with them! My machine arrived and I excitedly tested it out. The washer side worked really well and I like the simplicity of the dials. My clothing came out squeaky clean and in great condition. The spinner side, however, did not work; nothing happened when I set the dial timer to spin; so I contacted ZenStyle’s customer service via Amazon messaging. A ZenStyle agent replied in a very timely manner, asked if I would like to work with them to check/repair the issue, or send for an exchange (or refund). I CHOSE to work with them because I wanted to learn simple repairs; it is, after all, only a $100 machine so I may need to do little fixes in the future. After communicating with the agent and exchanging a few videos, the spinner side still did not work; so the agent quickly arranged a new replacement machine be sent out. The 2nd machine worked flawlessly! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The company stood behind their product of my new purchase ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ WHY I LOVE MY MACHINE - (a) I have a lot of delicate clothing such as dresses, knits, and thinner tops which our building’s washers and dryers are too rough on; and I got tired of washing them by hand so I’m always behind on laundry. It was important to me that this machine is gentle yet cleanses thoroughly. It met those requirements! (B) To avoid color bleed, I like washing similar color in cold water. This machine makes that possible to do whenever I want in small loads. Otherwise, I have to wait for a large collection of like-color clothing or wash only a few items in our building’s giant machine which is inconvenient, a waste of time and money, and environmentally unfriendly. (C) It is very quiet making it possible to wash in the middle of the night and not disturb neighbors. (D) My clothing are not soiled or very dirty. They’re just from a few times of regular wear and I want to wash out city dust and sweat. I find I can do a 5 or 10-minute wash with very little detergent, spin dry for 30 seconds to remove access soapy water, followed by a few more 5 or 10-minute pure water rinses and it’s done! (E) The spinner side works like an automated super speed salad spinner. The spin dial allows for long lengths of spin time but I found I only need about 30 seconds to spin dry an entire sweater dress; it comes out 75% dry, no dripping water at all; then I hang it up to fully dry. Tips, like other helpful reviewers mentioned: - I placed my machine on anti-vibration legs, and placed them into our bathtub https://www.amazon.com/Vibration-Washing-Machine-Cancelling-Universal/dp/B08ZSPJBNH - Don’t overload - Use very little detergent. -I fill up the washer using a bucket or handheld shower head. It’s quick. - It’s great to do a few washes throughout the day whenever you feel like it; don’t burn it out with non stop “laundry day” use - Just like full size washer and dryers, place delicates in a mesh laundry bag - Make sure to push the white plastic protector down on your clothing before "spin drying" otherwise it will throw the clothing from side to side in the drum causing a ruckus. - The instruction manually is lacking. I watched a lot of YouTube videos and reviews before using it; the proper steps are: 1. Put clothing into Washer side, switch dial to Wash, add water and little bit of detergent, turn timer dial to maybe 10 or 15 minutes 2. When washing stops, switch dial to Drain to release dirty water 3. Switch dial back to Wash, add water, turn timer dial to 10 minutes Repeat steps 2-3 a few times until no suds appear in washes. HAPPY WASHING!! 😊

I absolutely loved it! Its light weight easy to carry, compact size, I like the fact its clear so you can see through specially for the water level. Wash: reasonable small load, it cleans properly, its easy to connect the inlet rubber hose/good length, Its very quiet, easy to operate and you stop it anytime. Spin: super fast max 5 min and it does a great job removing the excess water, its quiet if don't overload the bucket. My tips: place the washer in a thick good quality rubber mat it helps with stability and reducing noise, remove the excess water wringing the clothes by hand before placing them in the spinner (it works very well if you don't do that too but it goes faster and quieter if you remove the excess water first), don't overload it it takes max 5 min even less time if you remove the excess prior. I only used it twice (received it 2 days ago) it definitely requires to use it carefully to increase its durability but let's see on that aspect. This will help a lot with daily small laundry and keep mine and my spouse's clothes always clean and fresh. Moving to a place with no W/D I was worried as I really don't like going to Laundromats frequently, I also needed it to be quiet enough so this is a life saver, I really loved it.

I live alone and purchased this washer to do my small loads (of which I have many), in addition to my very large new washer, which is just huge, I have to use tongs to get the clothes out of the bottom of the LG washer as it is so very deep. This little unit, gets things so clean and saves me a lot of money on detergent, water, additives, and I assume electricity. I use it in my laundry room next to my laundry sink. I love it for keeping up on all my small loads. I can still wash my large loads like towels, sheets, slip-covers, rugs and dog beds, in my large washer and during that same time period, run two seperate small loads of my delicates and everyday clothes I wear, in this one. I know it will pay for itself in no time at all. It only takes 1.5 oz of liquid detergent (I use a small amount of the he "free and gentle" liquid white tide), rather than using one or two of the expensive pods that I use in my large set. "Free and gentle" Tide is not cheap, so needing to use less is a big plus. I am amazed at how dirty the water gets, (ck out the picture) which tells me it is really getting my clothes clean. You can see thru it so you can tell how much it agitates. The wringer also works extremely well, I swear it is like the clothes have dry spots already when they come out. You can completely control how long the agitate cycle is as well as the spin cycle. When I went to wash my cleaning rags, I washed them for additional time and more than once changing the water in between til the water draining out was not so dirty, then I spun them, rinsed them and spun them before putting them in my regular dryer. Never having to wash them with my other whites, which I didn't like doing. I also think it will allow my expensive new LG Washer and Dryer to last me much longer. It is lightweight and compact. I plan to take this on vacation with me to a beach house I love to rent, that only has a coin laundry room in the complex. None of the units have washers or dryers. I hate getting coins, and setting in the hot laundry mat while the machines run, if I can even get one, as there are always several broken ones and they are usually busy. I also don't think those coin machines do a good job, and you just never know what the last person washed in them. Another plus, I wouldn't have to pack as many clothes, as I could wash them more frequently and spend more of my time enjoying my vacation.

If you haven't used a machine like this before, know that you have to run each load twice: wash with detergent, spin the soapy water out, wash with plain water to rinse (I include fabric softener here), and spin the water out. With hanging to dry, it takes me a little less than an hour to do a load. I work from home, so it's easier than running back and forth to the laundry room. Obviously you can only wash small loads and can't do super large or super heavy items in a portable washer. But also the small basket size means more wrinkles and less ability for pet hair to be washed away. If you have a pet who sheds and no dryer available, plan to vacuum your fabrics before washing and after hanging to dry. Fabric softener makes it harder to remove pet hair, but I dislike wearing crunchy clothes. I use powdered detergent and cold or warm water, and I feel like my clothes get almost as clean as in a normal washer. I'm able to wash things like mid-weight sweatshirts, chinos, and twin sheets (one at a time) in this machine. I switched to Turkish cotton bath towels, and they do great. I wouldn't recommend jeans or heavy hoodies - they are too bulky and stress the motor. Some reviewers have said you can only spin half of the wash load - that is incorrect, they are overstuffing the washing side. The amount that fits in the spinner is the amount you should be washing so that the water and agitation can get to all of the fabric. A load for me (5'4", 170 lb) is something like a leggings x1, flannel shirt x1, Tshirts x2, bras x2, undies x4, crew socks x2 pairs, wash cloths x4, hand towel x1. I've had this for almost 2 years. I fill it with a handheld shower nozzle in the washing side rather than using the input valve. Since I use it in my bathtub, I don't need the drainage hose. I actually cut it off because it isn't removable and it got moldy really quickly. It's much too short to be useful for draining into a sink, so the manufacturer really needs to rethink that. I store the machine in the closet on an IKEA boot tray to catch any drips. There is a small lint catcher, but it doesn't work very well and needs improvement. I put a small mesh trap in my tub train with a larger mesh trap over that like a dome (they came in a set from Walmart in the hardware section). The two together seem to do a great job catching lint. I have to clean them several times per load. Definitely don't want all that yuck going down the drain! Another design flaw is that if you overfill the washing side, it runs out directly into the motor and will ruin it (ask me how I know). There needs to be more of a barrier to prevent runoff and/or keep the motor dry. Check the breaker for where you plan to use the machine to make sure you have enough power for all appliances. My bathroom outlet is on a 15 watt breaker that also includes my bedroom outlets, which just power some fans and lamps. Running either the wash or spin side can throw the breaker on occasion. So while it's possible to have both sides of the machine going at the same time, I don't have enough power available. And I can't use my bedroom outlets for the vacuum or anything major while doing laundry. So yeah, this has been a great purchase that has saved me a lot of money over using the laundry room for the apartment complex. I can keep a smaller wardrobe because I wash little loads throughout the week. And putting away a little bit of clean laundry every few days is much easier to manage. For a household with multiple people, heavily-shedding animals, or lots of bulky items, this probably would not work.

My experience: Placed an order on April 15, 2026: used machine for two times, then it stopped working mid cycle during third time of me trying to use it. Placed an order for a replacement on May 2, 2026: the machine that was delivered - did not even turn on. Since May 2, 2026 (today is June 8, 2026), I’ve been trying to get my refund - unsuccessful. I asked Amazon representative to send FedEx (or someone) to pick up 2 machines, since it is not my fault they are not working and 2 machines is too heavy for one person to carry - and I was told that I do not need to return anything in this case. As a result: $110.76 we’re paid for nothing. Also, looks like seller is still trying to charge me something else, as there are no outstanding orders on my account at the moment when I am writing this review, but keep seeing someone from Amazon trying to charge similar amount on my card. Upd: they refunded $110.76, AND CHARGED MY CARD FOR $116.26 RIGHT AFTER ???

I was looking for something under 25 pounds and .portable for my needs that could wash all of my types of basic clothing. I would have preferred an all in one, but they were double the weight and more than double the cost. This little machine is amazing! Now, it’s a lot more work. You have two parts. Here’s the basic steps you have to do: 1. Fill washer with water and clothes (I use a bucket to fill as it’s faster) and only 1 tbsp of liquid soap or you’ll have tons of suds, and start the wash cycle. 2. Change cycle to drain. I use a bucket to drain, but would prefer placing in a shower. The hose is very very short and must drain level or down into something. 3. Put the clothes in the spinner and start. 4. Drain the spinner. 5. Place the clothes back in the washer. 6. Add clean water and start the wash cycle no soap this time. 7. Change to drain cycle and drain. 8. Place clothes back in the spinner. 9. Drain the spinner. 10. Hang to dry (I put in a hanging dryer bag). Like I said, it’s a lot of time and work, but it’s kind of fun if you have the time. If you do clothes once a day you should be fine. It will do several light weight items or one light towel or one pair of jeans, and I even did a light queen fitted bed sheet (tight squeeze in the spinner). I almost gave a four star because it can be exhausting if you are washing several loads. Overall, seems to work very well and it fits my needs for a very low cost and light weight while traveling in my rv. So far, I’m happy with this purchase.

6/2/23 - Some stuff i didn't know: (1) it drains by gravity. If you have a really small bathroom and not a lot of room for sturdy tables, you'll have to do some heavy lifting to get the water out. This machine is light weight without water, but when it's full and you have to lift it up to drain, not so much. (2) The power cord is kinda small. (3) only do 1 pair of jeans at a time otherwise the washer won't spin. (4) make sure you don't have "drain" on while refilling. I made this mistake and I see others do too. This is very easy to miss. (5) the drain hose is also small. Probably should do it in the tub but I couldn't because my power outlet is too far away. And some stuff I knew but good to know: (1) you have to manually do a rinse cycle by draining the soap water out and putting clean water in. (2) the "dryer" side is smaller than the wash side. Some extra stuff you may want: a shower head to refill. An extension for the power cord. A really sturdy table to elevate the machine so it can drain. Something breathable like a disposable sock to put at the end of your pipe so chunks don't clog your drain. A bucket might be good also. I would invest in the biggest version of this because there's no way I can do blankets and some other stuff. But this is really small and light if you want that (easy to hide). Used it to do my laundry and works as other people say it does, this is a good product not spectacular. Although the end result is pretty spectacular actually, my clothes is really really clean but the work to get there drops it down to just good for me (requires a lot more out of you than a standard washing/dryer). Build feels fragile especially for carrying water which makes it heavy and I think I cracked the plastic already in the back and the back plate is kinda misaligned now, nothing too major but again I only used it today. The spin or dryer part actually does a decent job but you still will have to hang dry it. You can actually wear the clothes immediately after use if you dont mind slightly damp clothes for like 15+ minutes (I don't, it's bareable). The dryer failed on me in a couple of ways already. Sometimes it violently shakes (not how it normally shakes, the drum seem to be misaligned and it bangs the clear plastic wall) and I have to stop it, shake it a little bit and start it again then it works, and sometimes it spins very slowly some times because there's too much water resistance on the bottom and sometimes it's just over heated i think??? Idk I hope it'll continue to work itself out over and over again in the future as it did today and I hope it will not be a major issue. Also the water from the washer side bleeds to the "dryer" side a lot but I think that's on me and not knowing how it works fully yet. The noise and vibrations is bareable. May need to hold in place if you're drying jeans or something heavy for 6 minutes or it could move "walk" around. The total time it takes to clean is about half a hour, including rinsing and drying but it taken me like 2+ hours to do 3 shirts, 3 jeans, socks, and underwear mostly cause I'm a newbie learning. Its a million times better than a laundromat. This "feels" like it's going to break on me within a week but I see others kept theirs for years so I don't know. I will update if it does break. 9/6/23 - the dryer/spinner stopped working. edit** false alarm i managed to fix it by shaking it. 4/6/24 - Still keeping this in my mind, i still use the machine frequently, and happy to say it's still working and it still feels fragile. The washing side drain is a bit slow might be clogged up and I don't think that's an easy fix. I invested in a cheap manual water pump to take the water out faster. 2/14/25 - This is prob going to be my last positive update until it really does break or if I have problems. I'm pleased to say IT STILL WORKS!!! And it still feels feels like it'll break at any moment. The drain is almost completely useless though. I think it's an easy fix but I'm just so lazy. I have a cheap water pump that works faster anyways. But yea other than that it works like it should. 1/17/26 - I finally got a washer and dryer and I no longer have this. It worked until the end and I'm giving it away to someone. I fixed the drain issue (to fix I had to unscrew the drain in the washer tub, so get a screw driver and something to unclog the shallow drain if you buy this). That's about it, my journey with this product is over and I'm grateful for it. Even if it breaks right now I got my money's worth. I didn't expect it to last longer than a few months. The only reason why I got a washer and dryer (that's like 10x more expensive than this) because I need something to clean my blankets and bulky items. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't have upgraded.

I've only done 4 small loads of laundry in this little washer, but I'm very pleased with my purchase. I'm older & not in great health, so taking my laundry to the on-sight laundry is difficult for me. I'm able to do my laundry in my apartment, which is a blessing for me. I love the spinner which gets most of the water out of the clothes. You don't want to stuff the washer side or the spinner side too full. I just put the washer in my bathtub & it's ready to go. I'm not able to hook it up to my water, but I just use a bucket to fill it up, and it drains right into the tub. Works just fine. I also bought the portable dryer which has worked great for me as well. I believe it's a great product for its cost & I would buy it again!
