More: data base (updated, "new") is severely flawed (also true of Garmins). The data for individual street segments is incorrect (transit time, median breaks, speed limit, road/offroad, HOV). This results in wrong answers on routing (GIGO). It took me a while to figure out where the GPS was going wrong, and finally realized the bad data gives bad results. In one case, data doesn't "know" major street (that runs with same name through multiple cities) doesn't exist in one of the cities (after choosing city, won't list that street). The Tocll has a better business establishment data base than Garmins, but G sets a pretty low bar.Latest: the screen is polarized 90 deg from sunglasses, so the screen is greatly dimmed: darn. The map data misses median breaks, not accurately directing available left turn openings, and instead routing you to a further intersection and making a U-turn: sad. The instructions are hazy because of the translation, but you get the drift. Downloading the map update takes about 8 hours (6 hours transmission, 2 hours internet disconnection/find/ start again). Transfer to gps takes almost an hour. Instructions for download/transfer are given in one of the Q/A, and they are mostly correct; right at the end it does something funny, not sure what, but eventually went in. I have not seen instructions on how to backup your stored info (Favorites, etc) before updating maps (a process that starts with Formatting the gps chip, so it all go bye-bye), but once connected to my computer, the gps shows up as a device (not the one in the instructions, but you can find it), so I'll see which file changes change dates and put that in a backup before updating. I had BIG heartburn with Garmin devices, so I am really pleased that the TOCLL has a MUCH more comprehensive data base: it knows which Panera bread outlet is near us, etc etc etc etc.

There is no reference to the manual (which is a poor translation from Chines) to how to update the maps. A "lifetime update" is useless if you can't find out HOW to do it. No option in the unit, and not mention on tocll website. The product support on their website is worthless as well. I've owned several GPSs and this one is perplexing. There needs to be reference or a errata sheet on how to do the map updates! Simply plugging it into a computer, or going to their website does nothing. If I have further problems in the next 30 days I'm sending it back.

Very good value for money, since it's reasonably priced but just loaded with features. It takes some user manual reading to figure out how to use all the features, since there are so many, but it looks like an excellent navigator, with very readable presentation and loads of customization features.

So exited to get this for my older car we have god in our new car and I really miss it when I’m driving the older one - easy set up and use

Bought for my husband as he had old one with really small screen,so when he saw this sat Nav he was over the moon,cos it’s very solid quality,decent size of device,easy to install and so easy to use.All the routes is clear and you understand straight away when you need to turn or where to go etc.(not like me usually missing all the turns)also there is voice instruction of the rote,which is very handy(quite nice voice by the way))Would recommend

The maps download on the unit are old they are from 2015 and the tracking image on the box is not what the GPS shows. This unit is the same as the other cheaper model.

The last brand I bought was very easy to use, this one is not. I guess I will have to read the instructions..but shouldn't have to.'
