seems to be working very well. A rather heavy area rug had a corner sticking up. First I steamed it and laid heavy stuff on it--that helped but not completely. Then after washing the carpet and the underside of the rug and letting it dry, I applied one of these rug corner grippers and the rug corner is now completely flat. Last month I bought an 8-pack of these rug corner and used four, because I intended to buy a second rug in the future. They work fine. Adhesive is very strong. I left the remaining four in the package for future use. Fast forward to today. I bought another rug, got ready to use the last four corners, and discovered that two of them were stuck together. Hard. The paper backing had been removed and the sticky sides stuck together. As I said earlier, the adhesive is very strong. I can't even pry them apart to try to use them. And I can't return them because I used half the package a month ago (with good results), but now the other half is useless.
