Beautiful, healthy plants !
I am a 77 year old woman, and was delighted that I could get these plugs delivered to my home. They are such a wonderful size and the the plugs are beginning to run, although it has only beena few weeks since I planted them.

Thick and healthy
I had to dig up my front lawn to make a plumbing repair. Unfortunately, doing so killed 1/3 of my St. Augustine lawn and the weeds took over. I bought Scott's Turf Builder weed and feed and put it on the lawn only to realize in the small print "do not use on St. Augustine". Great. It did take out some weeds, but it also burnt some of my lawn. I bought the lawn butler lawn plug tool and began to transplant plugs from other areas of the yard to the bare spots. I began to look for St. Augustine plugs and though these were a little more than other sellers on Amazon I decided to give them a try and I am glad I did. I ordered 72 plugs. It took a little time before they were shipped but once the order shipped it was 2 day UPS. The plugs arrived and appeared to be very healthy. The grass is green, thick and has no signs of disease, or insects. I planted them about 8" apart in a staggered pattern and after 3 days they already seem to have taken root. I just ordered 72 more. Hopefully they are just as nice. I will update in a few weeks when the next order comes in, but so far so good. Update. I received the second batch of 72. My lawn is look so much better. The second batch wasn't quite as green as the 1st, but I assume that it had to do with the much hotter temperatures in a UPS truck. The second batch is doing really well now. So far 144 plugs and every one of them have rooted. I ordered another 72 today.

Pricey, but they work.
The plugs were good, and arrived in decent shape, but some of the grass was starting to to turn brown by the time they arrived.Planting was easy, and the plugs seem to be settling in okay. A few of the plugs died, but Its Texas, and with the heat, and, trying to keep them watered daily, I imagine that is to be expected.Overall, I am happy with the results.
