I purchased this for use at several lawn concerts this summer. My hips fit comfortably between the arm rests and, after several tries, I got the hang of locking the back position. I appreciated the shoulder straps as it made it easier to carry from my car all the way to the venue and keep my hands free, but I did need to be aware of the several inches on either side of my back that could bump into people.During the first hour of the concert, I was comfortable and appreciated the side pocket to hold my water bottle. However, during the second hour, I realized how low density the seat foam was and I could feel the underlying metal mechanisms holding the chair together. While I appreciated the expanded width, the 250 lbs accompanying these hips really flattened the bottom seat foam. I hope the manufacturer can modify the density of the foam in the seat going forward as I imagine the average weight of individuals using this model would appreciate the additional support. I will continue to use as it did save my back any strain, but will probably supplement with a folded towel on the seat.

I have another one that is half the price and far better than this, also purchased on Amazon. I would have returned but my 4 year old LOVES it, hangs out on it all the time. It is comfortable and stable for an adult to use. I can agree with everyone else that the padding is not sufficient for an adult.Giving it an extra star since my daughter cant stop playing with it. Expensive toy though...

I took this with me on a fishing trip to the Chandeleur Islands. Needed a portable seat for the skiffs we fished out of. Here’s my review: Cons: 1) Won’t fold to a 90 degree angle. Therefore, you can’t sit straight up. You’re forced to sit in a recline position. 2) Needs more padding. Can’t sit in this for extended periods or especially when in a boat on plane 3) This unit is very wide

Loved our chairs! Lightweight but had plenty of cushion! I bought three of them for three overweight people that all have back and neck problems and we were all comfortable! Until about the fifth little league baseball game and one of them broke. Now I'm stuck with a $70 chair I can't use. Not happy.

Absolutely love these chairs! With 3 grandkids in band the bleachers were getting harder and harder each week. We bought 2 of these and Oh My Gosh! What a difference! We used them for the first time this past week. Now we are both larger people and we found the seats comfortable. Husband especially likes the adjustable back. There is also a strap on the bottom to attach the seat to the bleacher seat and handy cup holder on the side. The seat is lightweight, carries on your back with comfortable backpack style straps making it easy to carry hands free. Just wish we’d had these when our own kids were in band! We are campers and realized that they would be perfect for sitting at the picnic table as well!

Comfortable chairs with good arm support and nice amount of padding (compared to similar products). What is AWFUL about them is how difficult they are to transport. I am short, which means that it feels like I am carrying a mattress for an infant's bed on my back. Because it sticks out so far on either side of me, I have to be very careful not to knock it into people. The other day, I could not even reach into a glass-doored beverage cooler because the chair interfered. Furthermore, I have to be really careful about walking up and down bleachers with it on my back (and this is the only way to easily carry it) because it catches on arm rails.We attend a LOT of athletic events and purchased these for comfort. Sitting in bleachers for a few hours without adequate padding and arm support means sore body parts.If it weren't for the issues noted above, both of us would LOVE these chairs. Yesterday, however, I switched back to a previous chair, which is one that can be folded in two and carried with its handle. My hip was killing me by the time the games were over; however, I did not feel unsafe or dangerous.

These do not last. After a few months, the already very thin padding is broken down completely. They are very uncomfortable after a couple months. Now the frame is broken after a year of seasonal use. Do not buy these, the folding stadium chair they sell sometimes at Costco works for years. I’m super disappointed I spend money on these, they’re garbage.
