I love it
This one is great for me.I have MS & only the use of one hand and my head. We looked at over the bed tables at the local medical supply stores. Their cheapest was well over $100 and had a shorter length table -- I wasn't impressed. Well when you're working or eating in bed or wheelchair, you don't want something that doesn't come fully across. I worried about stability, quality, strength, ease of movement, whether or not it would roll under my adjustable bed. Did I want one that tilted for reading? One with edges to contain spills? I kind of wanted one with a lifting table top that had a vanity underneath. But I was so pleased when this one arrived. Good quality, well built, stable, rolls easily, fit easily under my bed, easily holds the weight and has the room for what I put on it -- a lap top computer & mouse, book, the weight of my arm resting on it. I use it mostly at night for the convenience of having Kleenex, medicine, TV controls, phone, water etc at my fingertips. I like it higher & angled at night so I don't feel trapped. My husband says it adjusts and rolls easily. With our setup, it has to be on my left side and I have little use of that hand but I can push it out of my way. Attractive dark wood grain vinyl top cleans easily. What I learned: Tilting for book reading would mean clearing everything off. I like this better. Edges would limit my space and the ease moving things. Vanity types would have the same problem as tilted and are vastly more expensive. More than you wanted to know I'll bet. Sorry I wrote so much.

Wonderful over-the-bed table.
Very nice adjustable over-bed table. My husband has been u sing one of these tables for a couple of years now, and he loved it. I had bought myself a different model, because I thought I really wanted a table that had a tilt feature. Unfortunately, the one I ended up with just didn't work as well as this one.The beauty of this table is that it works exactly the same on either side of the bed. The vertical bar is far enough to the side that the table can be swung deeply into the bed area. With other tables, where the support bar is more toward the middle, you can only move a fraction of the tabletop over the bed. This means you have to lean over to use the table and is not very comfortable. I have been so happy since receiving this table. It is very comfortable to use and is easily adjustable to a good number of heights. I use it for my laptop and have not missed the tilt feature of my old table at all--probably because this one is more adjustable on the height than the old one that had fixed heights.I definitely recommend this one.

Great Table!
I bought this table for my wife as she was recovering from a spinal fusion. She needed someplace to put all the stuff she wanted close at hand. This way, she didn't have to get out of bed unnecessarily.Delivery was quick and on-time. Setup was a 7 minute process and except for removing the screw, totally intuitive. (The instructions tell you which screw.)Stability is fine. The weight limit is only like 25 pounds, but as long as she didn't lean on it, that was plenty. I can see how if you leaned on the non-supported side, the bolts on the other end would give way. Don't do that!Overall, we're very happy with it. It adjusts up and down easily and rolls easily as well. Don't forget to unlock the canisters before trying to roll it away.Good $50 spent. Would definitely recommend to someone else.

got what I paid for...
I have a very high bed and was looking for a bedside table, but had difficulty finding anything over 30".With that in mind, this is my review...- Packaging. The plastic bag holding the screws was open at the bottom so the screws and bolts were scattered in the box (maybe this was kept in storage for long time?). I did end up finding all of them....good thing there weren't many screws.- Easy assembly. I imagine they've changed the instructions from previous versions, because the column & base came fully assembled. I only needed to attached the table to the column and the base to the column.- Movement. Realistically, this isn't going to exactly 'glide' across carpet.. c'mon, look at the small casters... that said, if using on carpet, it's best if moved from the column-end of the table.- Sturdy.... column, base and table all seem quite sturdy.- Adjustment. Raising it and lowering it isn't difficult, but it isn't smooth like butter either, but that's nothing a little WD-40 won't fix.At $55.99, I feel I received what I paid for and I'm pleased with the usefulness of the item. yay~!

A very good table at a very good price.
As I usually do, I read many revues before deciding on this table. Many purchasers went to great lengths to explain the difficulties experienced with the directions and assembly procedures. I even copied a few to aid me when assembling. I could have saved myself a lot of angst had I known how absolutely easy it was to put together. Everything worked perfectly and I am happy with my purchase. Some complained about getting a knock off; mine definitely is Invacare. Spring loaded raising operation is awesome, with just a little hand down pressure to lower. Intermediate locking is secure. I won't be putting any heavy objects on it, so I'm not concerned with the 25lb. weight limit; but it does have a very sturdy feel to it. Shipping was super fast and arrived with nary a scrape on it. Exceptions can occur, but I think if you are even slightly mechanically inclined, you will not need to concern yourself with assembl-ophobia. Unless you plan on the grandkids using it for a skateboard, I think you will be pleased with the quality of this product. [one caveat: don't over-tighten the screws fastening the frame to the table. After all, it is particle board, and stripping is a possibility. I wouldn't use an electric drill/screwdriver.]
