This product works great. The sound quality is just as good as the earbuds i use on my iphone. It’s simple to use and the price is great. Although you may have to twist the headphones in it’s port for it to pick up audio and produce sound from both earbuds, an easy fix that works every time.

As an owner of a OnePlus 6T a big tradeoff I had to endure was the lack of a headphone jack. Kudos to OnePlus for including a USB C adapter, but It wasn't until I got this I realized what I was missing out on. I was a bit turned off by the price but after having it in my hands and listening to my headphones through it I can say that it's 100% justified.The build is nice and has a nice metal feel, the connections are SOLID, like these connections would stay together over months at a time. The braided cable feels nice and sturdy, I don't see it fraying any time soon. And of course sound quality; it's is surprisingly better than the adapter I used previously, sounds are crisper and clearer than before. I didn't know it could work like that but I guess the "internal DAC" bullet point wasn't just hot air.Only nitpick I have is that the connection point with the USB C gets warm with use, haven't observed it getting hot but it is noticeably warm. Other than that this is a pretty flawless adapter and then some.Edit: after one mere week of use the connection started to flake out and now audio will cut out at certain angles. I honestly expected better life out of this

Works great with 2018 ipad pro 12.9
Works very well with my iPad pro 12.9 (2018). I bought it to hook up my Gibson SG , to my ipad. And the Amplitube app, to play my guitar.

Works with the New iPad Pro for connecting headsets
Works as advertised. I have Bose plug in noise canceling headset and this adapter works great with the new iPad Pro with the USB-C port.

Mine lasted about a month
I used this for my headphones plugging into my iPad (none of the buttons actually do anything with an iPad, by the way). After about a month the headphones started to get scratchy and cutting in and out. Turns out the wires inside are poor quality. If I bend the cable just right, the sound works great. That’s doesn’t help much when you’re just wanting to watch a movie or listen to music on your portable device.I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Spend the extra money for better quality. I personally haven’t had any problems with the JSAUX brand of cables yet, and I’ve been using those for over a year.

Doesnt work with Pixel 2
It wont plug in fully on the Pixel 2's usb c port so the connection is not reliable and will fall out frequently. I had to return it. I haven't had a problem with other usb c things plugging into my pixel so i assume its the adapter.
