Never disappoints.
I love the taste of sweet violets. I eat these just as they are but also crush and add to cakes, frostings, and whippped cream.

My favorite candy of all time!
I absolutely love this candy and I love the big packets that it comes in. The larger ones are much better than the smaller ones as you get way more taste in your mouth.

Better than the little one
My friend sent me the little ones and told me they had big ones that were a little stronger. Omgosh!! They are SO good! I’m hooked to both.

Like Smarties but No Artificial Colors!
I was in search of chalky candies that were like American Smarties but didn't contain artificial colors. (Or vitamins...I love you Acerola...) I came upon Swizzels Parma Violets, Fizzers, and Love Hearts. All of these candies come in a tablet form fashioned into a roll. The Parma Violets have the absolute perfect texture! The bite and crunch are simply addicting. But they're way too sweet, they could use some sourness for balance. The flavor of these is strong; albeit, still good and fun...but wouldn't be my first choice to make a candy all one flavor. The singular flavor easily gets monotonous. They don't really taste like soap or flowers or anything. It is a familiar flavor that I know I've had before in other candies. The flavor of the Fizzers is great! And there are different flavors. But they "fizz," which means they just turn into frothy foam in your mouth while you eat them. I am not a soda drinker and I hate the fizzing - however I appreciate the reason they do that which is the added minerals (baking soda). Coming from someone with 6 kids, I think they would make a great candy for pregnant people because they do work to help heartburn while keeping blood sugar up.Now the Love Hearts. These are the best out of the three but they could still be vastly improved. Since they're in a bit of a different shape from the other candies, they have the least solid bite. They would be better in a "true" tablet shape. Like the Fizzers, they fizz, but it's only a little bit so it's quite tolerable and actually a little fun. If you chew the candy thoroughly, you'll discover its sourness, which is better than the other two...but could still use a bit more IMO.Overall, I wish the Love Hearts had the texture of the Parma Violets, no fizzing, and had an improved flavor with more sourness. Let the Parma Violets be sweet, let the Fizzers froth, and let the Love Hearts be sour.I give these three candies each only four stars, because each of them lacks some element that keeps them from being an absolutely wonderful 5-star candy. Otherwise, they give me my "chalk fix," I love that they come in rolls, and the most important thing, NO ARTIFICIAL COLORS.
