I picked this up for a 1985 25hp Evinrude outboard. The 3/8" threads worked perfectly for that motor without attaching the adapters. The seal was great from the o-ring. Pushes a good volume of fluid in with each pump so it didn't take too long. Used it with some Lucas gear oil in the tall quart bottle. The "straw" on this pump worked great and reaches to just about the bottom. My guess, I would say it will leave behind less than an ounce of fluid at the bottom of the bottle. Great product.

I needed a way to easily fill the steering box on my 1951 Ford Tractor. Although the supplied fittings weren’t sized/threaded for this particular application, the smallest fitting inserted and the o-ring “sealed” with a little application of pressure.Now my steering box is filled with gear oil, I’m thinking there’s a good chance it hasn’t been this full since it rolled off the line almost 70 years ago!Decent quality that seams like it’ll be in my toolbox for a few years at least! Get yourself one and stop mucking about!

The pump would not thread onto Mobil 1 quart gear oil bottles but I was able to MacGyver it with a bit of duct tape. Transfers the gear oil quickly and with no mess.

Adapters are a great idea. Had to change lower unit oil on a F 9.9 hp Yamaha and the adapter fit perfectly. Wasn't sure it would fit Yamaha but no problem. Pump worked as described and voila, job completed !!

Spent 2 hours trying to get this to work. Finally tested the pump by trying to pump gear oil from one open bottle to another. Nothing. Pump was defective. Used a different brand and filled lower unit in under a minute. Moral of the story: test the pump using water before trying to use. That way you can return it. I can’t.

I used the Slippery Pete lower unit pump when it arrived and I was very happy with it. Just as advertised and well worth the money paid, and the awsome savings by doing the service myself.

Fittings are great. Pump does not work very well. It took nearly an hour to pump gear fluid into a small 9.9 hp kicker.

The metal fittings are awesome. The pump I had a problem with but seller promptly fixed the issue. Online sales are all about quality and customer service this has both. Would definitely prefer to purchase items from this seller! 👍
