BLACKHAWK Loopback Inner Duty Belt - X-Large

I bought this belt to wear to work due to having to pass through a metal detector on exit. The belt is well constructed and does what it is supposed to do. But for me it does not work for everyday use due to the thickness. It will not fit through the belt loops on cargo shorts. And barely fits through the loops on jeans. On top of that when removing the belt the velcro had started to fray the loops of my jeans. Over time I can see they would eventually rip the loops completely off. I imagine this belt would work great with fatigues or other pants that have wider loops. But for day to day casual it did not fir the bill. In the end I found a tactical belt with a plastic buckle and without velcro at a local Army/Navy Store that works much better.

The belt itself is not as comfortable as I expected it to be. it is VERY rigidThe part that closes the belt is very short and cannot be fitted comfortablyAlso, the velcro for the closure is only 2 small pieces of hook and loop and not actually all the inner or outer belt padding (which I was kinda expected as well)I was a bit disappointed and wear it only 2 times, and since then the belt is in the storage room

Every year I have to replace my river belt and over that last 20 years of LE work I have really seen the quality of inner belts go downhill. The vast majority have been the overlapping hook and loop with a few rigger belts in the mix. Most of the time the overlapping Velcro belts just stop holding together. The last one I had barely made it 6 months. So I was on the hunt for a new belt.Well, I found it. This thing is great. I can tension the belt and it holds. I leave my outer belt in my locker and travel to and from work with an OWB with G19 and the belt is ridged and strong enough to hold the weight. Just for fun I put my G17 with accessories on at the range. No issues.This is the belt you are looking for!

I bought this to replace the inner belt of a Bianchi duty belt system. Bianchi's inner belt velcro wouldn't hold fast and constantly would come loose if I took a deep breath . I couldn't depend on it as a stand alone belt.This Blackhawk belt has been the exact opposite. I've been very happy with it. Once fastened, it holds until you take it off. I've been using it for the inner belt of my duty belt system and it has done all I have asked and not failed once.I'd recommend it to anyone needing one.

I’ve been using this inner belt for about 6 months and it is an average belt. It’s not the best or the worst.What makes this belt average in my opinion is that it is too stiff and does not mold to your body and makes it difficult to bend. Also, when securing the belt, which is done by Velcro, it does not hold very well.

If you see a negative review that starts with "too stiff" or "it has velcro on the outside" then stop reading, it has nothing to do with the quality of this belt. This is a VELCRO LINED INNER DUTY BELT! It is designed to be stiff because it is meant to support a gun belt worn over it. It has velcro because that is how it attaches to the gun belt. If you are not looking to do that then you need to look for another product.This belt mated fine with my  BLACKHAWK! Black Reinforced 2-Inch Basketweave Web Duty Belt with Loop Inner - Xlarge . It is stiff enough to support the outer belt without sagging or folding and the velcro mated well so no belt keepers are needed. The d-ring also allows you to really tighten the belt if you want more than the simple overlap belts. Great product.

I like the belt. I just wish the loop was longer or it was done reversed.

I got this belt b/c I got tired of the flimsy GI issue type belts/buckles. They don't last and the buckles are metal and can scratch stuff. This one was sized right for me I'm a 34 inseam. Unlike a riggers/instructor belt with the massive and heavy "D" ring for repelling this one is stouter than the uncle mikes thinner under-duty velcro belt [I own themm both] This one I prefer for work [General contractor] as I can hang my RAT-3 fixed blade w/sheath, smart phone in HD otter box case, small led flash light and small hip pouch off it and it still holds my pants up fine. When I'm not in my man-work clothes I like the Uncle mikes b/c it is a bit less rigid and just really needs to support my phone. Either one should work fine when I go to the range to shoot off the hip drills of any firearm/belt holster combo I own. Highly recommended. Amazon had the BEST price around and took back the riggers belts that I did not like.

Good, but...You should buy a size larger. Mine is a large (38" - 42") and it fits me perfectly (I have a 38" waist). However, I don't see how it could fit someone with a waist over 38", as it would be too short. That means I gotta watch my weight now.The belt has full length velcro hooks on the outside surface, which means you can use a longer one without any problem. I.E., If you have a 38.5" to 41" waist, get an X-Large.Some people out there may find it to be too stiff, but it is perfect for most serious LEOs.

Very usefull at my job and the shooting range. Easy to ajust. You just have to order a size bigger than usual.

Black hawks duty belt line is a different from other brands the inner uses hook and loop to secure its self well allowing the outer belt to also use hook and loop. In the end i didn't really enjoy it and went with a 5.11 duty belt that came with inner and outer and with belt keepers.

It came exactly as expected.

Not impressed with this belt. It's very stiff, and two months after purchase the velcro is starting to come apart and it will no longer effectively loop back and hold properly.
