Magpul GL Enhanced Mag Well, Glock 19 Gen 4

Fit:Perfectly onto my Gen 4 G19. Really helps the feel of the gun. Great cheaper option for a glock magwell.

I purchased this to go on my Gen. 4 G19 MOS. The primary purpose for this gun is to have fun with at the range and to carry while riding my ATV around the woods. I stuck suppressor sights on it along with a Vortex Optics Viper 6 MOA Red Dot mounted to a C&H Precision Weapons V3 Viper mounting plate. Its a blast and I love it. The one aspe that I didn't like about my G19 was the way a "flush" factory 15rd magazine sits. It was initially cosmetic but after shopping around and deciding on this particular Mag-Well I found that I love the feel of it while it is in my hand, even more than the cosmetic appearance. For the cost and ease of installation you can't go wrong if you are looking for a subtle Mag-Well that functions perfectly, acts as a hand stop and looks awesome.

Installed this on a Gen 4 G22 with no additional backstrap. It fits nice and tight, and the flex tension makes the screw snug in the frame hole so you don't need loctite. You do lose some mag base gripability with stock mag base plates in the event you needed to rip out a double feed. But Glocks don't do that kind of stuff normally. I love it.

Works reasonably well. Unlike many of the larger plastic or aluminum magwells, this one does not wrap around or come up the front of the grip, so you don't lose any pinky space.It does rely on flex built into the part to keep it flush against the front of the grip, but so far, that doesn't seem to be an issue. There are no visible gaps or apparent flexing without putting a lot of force on the part.The rear section gets squeezed firmly into place to align the screw hole, and then relies on the head of the small provided cap screw for retention in the hole of the grip. Loctite is necessary to ensure the cap screw doesn't back out, but is not provided.If looking for just a little bit of reload help for your carry piece without having an oversized flared magwell, this is probably the best option at the price point.

While the magwell fit my G19 perfectly, it didn’t seat any of my 15rd mags. Tried oem Glock factory mags, magpul pmags, and none worked to seat all the way in. However 17rd mags would all seat in with zero problems. Would’ve loved for this to work with the 15rd mags to sit nice and flush, but I’m not trying to carry my G19 as my ccw with extendo mags.

Good product. Brand new, no marks or wear. Good fitment. Easy install. Nice for grip.

I received a used one without packaging first time, but that’s Amazon’s fault not the product. This works well, is affordable, but doesn’t fit Gen 5 baseplates very well. They will work if you force them, but better off with something else if you have Gen 5 mags.
