Wow...just an impressive piece of work. Like all things, it's not PERFECT, but it is pretty darn close for my purposes. Here are the main issues for me as a constant globetrotter:1. Weight2. As a design freak, fit and finish matter and that is part of why I chose the Galaxy S5 phone3. Protective capabilities4. Battery qualities and charging effectivenessThe case for my Samsung Galaxy S5 arrived from Amazon Prime today. I normally wait a week or so before writing reviews to judge recharge performance and other issues, so I will update this if anything of significance happens. Part 1: Weight. I like to combine this with the protective qualities (#3). What I mainly LOVE about this charger/case is that it is amazingly light weight given its significant battery capacity. It feels well made though, and very very tight at the seams - something rare in phone cases (especially hard plastic ones) in general. It is thick enough to provide significant protection for the phone, but light enough that you barely notice the extra weight in a spare jacket pocket or phone wallet.As far as #2, Fit and Finish: They are BRILLIANT. With charging cases, there are always gaps where the case needs to align for assembly. For this case, they are so tight they nearly disappear. The paint is a gorgeous red metallic - far nicer than my boring black S5). Since I bought a hard plastic case intentionally this time (no rubberized finish to snag in a pocket or phone wallet) I am happy with the super smooth outcome. However, I know this case will scratch VERY easily. That is cool by me since it's the case's job to take one for the team :-) And this one seems rugged and well-made enough to take more than a few. I wouldn't want to drop this one really hard, as with hard plastic (as opposed to rubber cases) impact protection is limited...but if you don't plan to be lugging this through major industrial environments, this case is more than enough.I love the multiple blue LED charging indicators, and the fact that (unlike many other charging cases) this case prioritized the phone's battery to be charged first...with the case coming later. That means you never have to worry about removing this case when charging your phone. The phone is charged first, FOLLOWED by the case, which becomes its own phone charger as needed.The single thing I'd improve on this is the kickstand. Like the rest of the phone it is precisely made with a tight recessed fit in the back of the case...but the stand itself seems to be cheap plastic. For me - I don't really care as I rarely use the kickstand. But it' worth mentioning.Overall - I would buy this again and again as needed. It's affordable; high capacity; sufficient protection; downright beautiful in fit and finish. I will update if needed. Enjoy

It works great! It is really great for long periods of use such as streaming, picture taking and sending, music playing, and any type of business use you may need it for. It is nice not to have to worry about your battery usage for a change! The only thing that would make it better is if it was a thinner case like the phone is. Other than that, it is great!

I am not sure what to say here. I really like the case appearance. I really like the way the phone fits. Unfortunately that is where it ends. The biggest issue is that the cell phone strength goes to almost nothing. I get zero cell phone strength with the case on and rarely get 1 bar with 1X strength. Without the case, in the same areas, I get 3 bars 4G or 4 bars 3G. That just won't work as you can imagine. The second issue is that the batter turn on and off is flaky. Hard to use the same button pushing cycle to turn on and off as it doesn't always work. Lastly the charging is very slow to the phone.I can't recommend this case and have to return it.

Great product for the price my only beff is its a little slippery. But I did receive it in only a couple of days and is made very well. Better than most charging cases it actually charges the phone and protects it I will recommend it. Wish they were also made for a note 4 also that's the only reason it gets 4 and not 5 stars

it's beautiful and sturdy for my large hands, but its output is super weak and the phone battery will still lower while the battery is on... if it was more light, in a similar type of royal blue, and if the output was up to 2 amp or 2.1 amps, this would get a 5+☆ from me... how do you have 4200 mah at 500mah output, that would take too long to charge up, my phone battery died while trying to charge it up

Thick and heavy, but holds a sizeable charge. I wasn't aware that it continually discharges, as the phone uses up its battery. I was under the impression that it stayed charged until you needed it, to recharge a diminished phone battery. I'm sure it would be a great item for those who go through their batteries quickly, but I took it off due to the big size. Keeping it as an emergency backup.'

Love the case. Kinda heavy but I expected that. My reason for not rating 5 stars is because the power button is broke. My friend ordered the same case and both the power and volume buttons are very easy to press on theirs, however my power button will not work. Also, some of the silver outlining around the case is coming up. Other than that, the case is great!

It can definitely take a beating and keep on ticking. Beating was not intentional, no phones were harmed from beating, much to the surprise & relief of the owner. Button is a little awkward to press but it gets the job done.
