Jinglong Tea Factory - Black Tea Road Brick (24 portions) - Yunnan Black Tea (3.6 Ounce/100g)

Jinglong: came for the pu-erh, stayed for everything. This black tea has an excellent flavor: the "sour" I've seen in other reviews is that it's a bit tannic. But it's far less tannic and bitter than your standard breakfast tea.Also, I love the packaging. The squares are exactly the right size for tea on the go. They're dense enough to sustain 4 or 5 strong cups of tea. For so much good tea, it's a great price!

Hard to break, but decent flavor

I have purchased several different teas from Jinglong now and have absolutely no complaints. This is another fine product. I have taken it on several long road trips, it definitely lives up to it's name.

This was my 3rd purchase and 2 one that was stale and unable to use

I never had a regular black tea in a cake form before, so it was fun to try. But an even bigger surprise is that the taste is outstanding, to me.

A superior product. It has a slight lemon like flavor, and it is easy to make. A very good loose leaf

If you follow the instructions as written (300 mL of boiling water, one square of tea, steep for 1 minute), you end up with a cup of slightly brown water that tastes vaguely of tea.Prepare it like you would normal tea (steep for 3 to 4 minutes, stir to break up the square), you end up with an OK cup of black tea. However, I don't see how this is any better than either a tea bag or loose tea and a strainer.

Each little square makes enough tea for two large mugs. Good flavor, especially with stevia and half-and-half added.
