Incredible value, minor hiccups
I was searching for a docking station that would work with my streaming setup, which included a second monitor, external SSD, audio interface, and capture card. My 2018 Macbook Pro couldn't handle powering all of those devices simultaneously, so I started down the rabbit hole of docking stations.I tried two other stations before getting on the phone with OWC and asking them if this dock would perform what I was looking for, and they were super helpful and confident it would. They were right! This dock works pretty well, BUT, I do have the same issue some have reported with the second display not working on wake-up. The mini displayport adapter that came with it was also broken when it arrived. Absolutely garbage little connector that is supplied. I had to purchase another miniDP to HDMI converter, but after that, it worked, sans the wake-up issue. All in all, I'm really happy to have this dock and have it doing all I ask of it. Besides the wake-up issue and the shoddy converter, it's been smooth sailing. I would recommend this.

Worked for a short time with MBP for monitor
I was so happy with these at the start I purchased a second one for home. It worked great for about a month with one monitor connected to this hub and the other directly connected on the other side of the laptop. However, both of them within three days of each other became unresponsive with any monitor attached to the display port. Two stars as it's an expensive but passable USB hub and external ethernet port, but useless for video.

Works but occasional video issue on reboot.
Works great but has a very occasional issue of not recognizing the external display when there's a loss of power. A quick cycle and it comes back. Otherwise this has been rock solid. If you're good with the occasional video issue, than this should work great for you. (Lenovo T14s)

Works as designed
I bought this for work to have a minimalistic work environment as a software engineer.Everything works as designed, it charges and identifies screen fast enough. I had it for a month and used it every work day with no issues and overall happy with price and performance so far.Not sure if issues described by other reviewers were fixed or just my specific setup is not affected by themMy setup:- 13" Macbook Pro 2018 without Touchbar- 34" Dell Curved monitor with mini-port cable going directly into the dock- Mechanical USB wired keyboard- Headphones connected to the dock

Decent number of ports with some limitations.
Bought this to connect to 2018 15" MBP. Supplies enough power, and the Ethernet works well. Nice to not have to use multiple adapters. However, the headphone jack does not understand Apple's (or Bose's) volume up/down on the headphone cable, so that port is not as useful as I would've liked. Also, when I close the laptop and the monitor goes to sleep, the miniDP connection does not seem to work until I power-cycle the dock. I have tried power-cycling the monitor, re-plugging the monitor, and replugging the laptop. The only thing that brings the monitor back is a power-cycle of the dock. I don't know if it's a dock issue, or a monitor issue.

Don't Buy!!! Buyer Beware!
OWC usb-c docks do not work with 2018-2020 Macbook as far as display port for HDMI.. Customer service was horrible as there was no responses from the company what so ever, even with Amazon trying to reach them on several occasions!! I even attempted to apply the fix by creating a bootcamp partition of Windows and it still didn't work! Amazon sent a replacement model 2 days after my original as we hoped it was just a faulty dock, It wasn't! Don't even waste your time and money buying from OWC or any of the 3rd part sellers.

Great HUB, Not 100% perfect for MacBook Pro 16in.
I purchased this to use as a main hub for my new 16"MacBook Pro. I loved the price point compared to the almost $300 Thunderbolt 3 pro dock. I had two compatibility issues with it though, so hope I'm helping someone to there!1. First issue is minor and is a given, but my thunderbolt two devices were not compatible with this unit. even when using a thunderbolt 2 to 3 adapter, the HUB is USB-C so therefore it cannot use the thunderbolt protocol. Wasn't a huge issue for me but I just had to plug my usb 2 devies straight into the side of the computer.2. The power output will charge my MacBook, but not at a high enough speed. While working, my battery slowly drains because it's not receiving enough power from the HUB. I will be upgrading to the thunderbolt 3 dock to solve these issues, just kind of bummed it's over double the money!

Dirty Power!
For the life of me I couldn't figure out where the noise was coming fro in my studio. I disconnected things, tried my hum eliminator, everything. Finally, I removed this doc. I own 3 so I tried the other two.Same. Exact. Problem! The noise was coming from the dock.I have tow I use in my office and, one of them is constantly disconnecting my SSD drives. I gave up and bought myself a couple of Atollas....
