Amazon Brand – Stone & Beam Rustic Plaid Flannel Duvet Cover Set, Twin, Ivory and Cream

There is nothing I don't love about this flannel duvet set. The flannel is thick, with an appealingly fuzzy nappy texture after a wash, and the cream and gray windowpane check pattern is handsome and relaxed, not log cabin kitschy like some plaid flannel bedding can look. More impressive to me is the fact that the plaid flannel is woven, not printed, which is very nice for a duvet set of this price. We have owned them for less than a month, so there's not much to report in regards to durability, but we are very pleased with the high quality look, feel and fit of the product.

So much so we stopped using the top sheet. This thing is as soft and cozy as an old flannel shirt. The good ones too not a thin cheap MiC tissue thin flannel shirt. No sirree! This is the real thing. Between this and a warm flannel sheet...that's some real winter cozy right there. Snug as a bug in a rug.Expensive? Yes it is and I'm afraid it is a bit much for what it is. No zipper...you get a row of loosely fitted buttons that come unbuttoned. Only ties at each corner none for the middle. It does fit the duvet well though. I'd like to see the price at $20-30 dollars less and I probably won't buy another of this brand until it comes down. I just don't see the value for dollar here. Sorry.

When I ordered this I was concerned about the color due to a few other reviews, but tried it anyway. It is the perfect red and black buffalo plaid color! The black is black and the red is just what you would expect it should be. It washed beautifully, is so very soft and the quality is excellent. I was so delighted with this duvet and shams. I love the cabin look and this fits perfectly! I highly recommend it!

I wanted to increase my bedroom's coziness for the winter so I bought this in the ivory and cream. I thought the other color options would get old fast. This was an excellent purchase. High quality fabric that is finished well. The pillow shams perfectly fit my large pillows. Very soft and I find the colors relaxing. A very good value.

I’m one of those people that thought you had to spend a lot of money for great bedding but maybe I’ve been proven wrong?! I was really feeling the black and red checked flannel this year when it started to get cold. Stumbled across this bedding and decided to buy the whole set (duvet cover, flat sheet, fitted sheet, and two pillow cases) and give it a try.When I opened it I was immediately surprised that the quality seemed decent and everything was fairly soft. For the price I have to admit I expected flimsy fabric or loose threads on the ends or something, but nope! Tossed everything in the washer with a tiny bit of fabric softener. Once I got it all on the bed I was in heaven! The set looks great, soft, warm, and so far seem like they are holding up after a few washes.The only drawback, which I expected, is dog hair. I have two little dogs that don't shed much so it's not a deal breaker for me. But if you have pets that shed a lot it's going to be a pain to get the hair off even using a sticky brush. But I definitely recommend and would buy again!

It just got cold enough for me to pull these duvets out, and I am pleasantly surprised by the quality. The flannel is a nice weight, the red/black buffalo check is nice and bright, and they fit my duvet insert perfectly (it is a big box home brand), even though the duvet is slightly different in length/width. I am considering buying some in other colors for the primary bedroom, as these are reserved for guests. But I am using them anyway, as they are so cuddly.

The color is muted enough to look like the flannel that I remember from years ago, not the bright, fake looking colors of many other flannel products. When I saw that it was yarn-dyed, I hoped it would be more authentic, and it definitely is. It washed and dried beautifully, although I did hang the shams to dry so the edges wouldn't curl up. No pilling at all, and not much lint showed up in the dryer. I did run it on the wash cycle twice to be sure to get any excess out. Looks just like it did when I took it out of the package. The price is outstanding for quality flannel. Ordered a set for my daughter too, but Amazon's shipping delays to Alaska are irritating, although I'm sure she'll also love it when she finally gets it. Looking forward to Stone & Beam expanding their selection of items on Amazon.

I poured over this item, unable to reconcile the picture versus the color description of "Ivory and Cream", until I just ordered it out of desperation. This item's color is actually "PLAID TAUPE" as described on a label on the box that it came in. "Ivory and Cream" may refer to the background color, but I'm happy to say that this Duvet Cover Set is definitely plaid, and of a sort of tan color, which is exactly what I wanted. Taupe seems a reasonable color description to me. This cover set is made in Portugal and looks to be good quality in materials and workmanship. It came in a neat little flannel bag. For some reason this particular color comes at a much lower price than the other colors, and I didn't mind that at all. I am very pleased with my purchase, and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in this sort of product.
