Nikon Trail Blazer 8X25 mm Field Glasses
I have owned the field glasses for only 24 hours, and already can't stop playing with them. Can't wait to take them to the field! These are GREAT field glasses. I wish the objective lenses had covers, tho'. Other than that, I cannot find any flaws in them. Superb optics over the POS I had previously. As well, I have very wide set eyes that most glasses do not accommodate. These do. Very wide field of view, better than I am used to. Will be very helpful in the field as well as the theater. I may buy a couple more pairs as Christmas gifts. Great value for the buck.

Perfect for backyard bird watching!
This is my second pair of Nikon Trailblazers. I also own the 10 x 25. I was hoping for a little more noticable difference in the magnification to help with tracking birds that are flitting around compared to the 10's. There is a little difference, but if you are trying to decide between the 8's and 10's and are worried that the 8's won't be enough, don't be. You get a slightly larger area that still feels like the same magnification. These really are my favorite binos and that includes a very expensive pair of 10 x 42 Swarovski ones we also have. You know why? Hardly any difference in image and so small and lightweight that I actually want to take them along, even for a neighborhood dog walk, just in case an interesting bird swoops in along the way.

Very good EDC gear
These binoculars are FANTASTIC!!! I wanted something small that I could just carry in my cargo pocket or backpack. I almost bought a more expensive pair of small bios but went with these instead. They did not disappoint. The clarity is very good during the day and at night. I used them at a AAA baseball game and they were fine. They were very easy to focus. A lot of people have complained about the eye caps coming off easily. They are correct. But like anything, you just need to be careful and put them in your pocket or the bio case when using them. The only drawback to using these bios is if you have shaky hands they will be hard to use. But that is a medical issue, and not a flaw in the product. These are well worth the money.

Lightweight for walks
Great for taking on bird walks in the woods, not too heavy around the neck.

Perfect for our hikes.
I wanted a replacement for our old, bulky pair of binoculars to take on our hikes. After going through a quick "binoculars for dummies" primer, I chose these. Love the size and the quality. They work great, especially for the price. Having just completed the primer, it is evident we are no experts, I am sure binocular aficionados would scoff at our choice. But for us, they work great.

too small
I have a pair of 8 X 36 small but still quality and I had a pair of 6 X 36 that were great these are just two small and not what I thought they were. I didn't return them but might not ever use them. Nikon is the best all around for the money.
