Terracotta Salt Piglet

The item is as described, but what I didn't count on was paying 50% again in postage.I'll be a lot more careful when ordering in the future.Prime delivery? I thought so, apparently not.

I have taken recently to using Organic Pink Himalayan Fine Salt rather than the Sea Salt I used to use and after a bit of research on the best way to store my fancy pink salt, it was obvious I needed a Terracotta Salt Pig - unglazed! which this one certainly is.It looks great! is perfectly produced, no flaws and holds a very decent amount of salt which will be kept dry and fresh on account of the salt piglet being made of the unglazed terracotta.Took ages to arrive though! Fab service from the seller when I sent them a message asking where it was as I had ordered it ages ago (maybe they make them when the orders come in?) etc. they replied that they were sorry for the delay and to make up for the delay they were shipping it by first class mail and thus I got it today. Well worth the wait.5* seller5* product.RECOMMENDED!

Bought as a present and complements an already purchased salt pig. Good packaging so no damage. Can't go wrong with this one.

Nicely made, efficient in use. It holds just about the right amount of salt and looks good in the kitchen The unglazed terracotta really does keep the salt perfectly dry. Having lived with it for a while, we're still pleased with this item though its perhaps a bit of a shame that it didn't come supplied with a spoon and the delivery was appallingly slow. We bought a boxwood salt-spoon  Salt spoon 11cm/4" Boxwood Guaranteed quality at the same time but from another supplier.

Having done a little research I wanted a terracotta salt pig as it absorbs moisture and is therefore better at keeping the salt. This is a good size - perhaps a bit bigger than I expected but pleasingly so. It arrived very quickly - well within the estimated time and it looks good in our kitchen!

The handle at the top makes this really easy to move around.The only issue I have is that since it's next to the cooker when oil splashed on it, it really picks up oil stains. But hopefully this should be relatively easy to wash off.

I wanted a little salt pig for the dining room table, this one looks nice and works great, no more damp salt, will be buying the little spoon to go with it and wished I had ordered it at the same time.

A really lovely small salt pig. I bought it as a present for someone with limited space, but would have liked to keep it myself!
