Perfect for my Closet-Sized Office
I purchased this to install in my "home office" since I started working from home during quarantine. The space I have set up to work in is only about 6'x6', but it has a giant window that allows the sun to warm the tiny space all day. I tried using floor fans and desk fans, but they were noisy and didn't move enough air to cool the whole room, just my face. I was sitting in my sweat all day! This little beast of a fan does WONDERS! The first day I had it in, I had to wear a sweater at my desk, and it made me so happy! It's tiny, but powerful. The motor hums at a low level, but it's quiet enough that no one in my virtual meetings can hear it. The settings are varied enough that I can be comfortable any time of day. It's definitely more appropriate for a small space -- when I say my office is basically a closet, I'm not kidding. (The home floorplan calls it a "dressing room") So I wouldn't have high expectations for a bigger space. It was easy enough to install with help, but it's VERY important to follow the instructions and read the stickers on the blade assembly. The fan blades don't attach to the motor in the same way a typical fan does, and I put them on improperly (twice, I'm ashamed to admit). Once attached the right way, though, the fan looks great!

Awesome for small spaces,. Information on size, spacing, installation needs too
i've been spending the cold months remodeling at my mother's place. there was a fan already in one of her hallways but it had seen better days and one of the light fixtures had broken, not easily fixed. so i just got one of these to replace it.when assembling make sure to have the arms turned the right way first. second make sure the blades have the wood tone facing down not upwards. FYI do NOT put the glass dome on until the arms are in. you must screw them in through the holes where the light sockets are. rotate the upper portion until you can see the screws throught the holes. then unscrew the two screws in the base, put the arms on and tighten. once all three are done then put the glass dome on.the pulls just snap on. based on the description i assumed it was a built in LED light? i was pleasantly surprised to find standard bulb sockets with LED bulbs that screw in under the glass 'cap.' nice because all lights even led's eventually go bad and i was concerned i wouldn't be able to replace them. thankfully not a concern now.you have two direction use both summer(counter clockwise) winter(clockwise). the light and fan each have dedicated pulls. i actually put alexa enabled switch in the wall for voice control to make life a little easier for our mom.when running due to the shape and shorter blades it runs quieter than any fans any of us have had. it puts out good air flow regardless of speed. better still it fits perfectly in the hallway.**FYI the drop or distance between the bottom of the glass cap and the uppermost portion is 12". so you know it will hang down from the ceiling exactly one foot. also the lights that come with are very yellow in color. i replaced them with some that were 'white' in color from a local brick and mortar store.i am very happy with this unit so much so i went and ordered a second but with the nickel finish for my home. i would recommend this to those wanting a nice compact ceiling fan that doesn't break the bank.

Good little fan
Using this in our spare room / office, it’s not a Large room, but the fan works great, it looks kinda small but it moves good air, was thinking of getting one for the master bedroom, as it’s virtually silent.Even large fans on the lowest setting tend to hum, but the only thing you hear from this is the air in the blades.I wouldn’t recommend for a large room, unless you have 2. It’s simply not going to push a lot of air for you in a LARGE room, a “regular” bedroom / office would be the perfect spot as it has not the long blades to move large volumes.Been using it close to a year and it’s working good. It replaced a remote control unit.

Solid 4 stars with a little room for improvements
Post-installation review:Good:1) The bulbs and fan operate quietly with no buzzing or rattling (they can rattle if the light dome is a little loose, but is easy to tighten).2) Separate blue and black wires allow for separate light switches for fan and light.3) Comes with balancing weights and quality instructions on how to balance4) For the 5 fans of this model I bought, none needed balancing - they run entirely wobble free on high in either direction5) Their size is just about perfect for my 10'X10' rooms6) Small details like extra screws, extra long stock wires, light and fan symbols on pull cords, E26 socket size all help7) I already got my hand caught in the fan while on high. My hand was unharmed, and the fan didn't go out of balance. So I think this is a good sign because I've whacked my hand on a bigger older stronger fan years ago, and that fan went out of balance. So perhaps its small size helps it remain strong relative to the blow (slower max blade speed at the end points plus less leverage against the contact points upon impact)8) Even though the stock 5 watt bulbs are dim, I compared them to some older 8.8 watt LED bulbs and they shine about as bright as those ones (which have a frost glazing on the bulb) so although the bulbs are dim once inside the light dome, they are actually great bulbs in terms of output per watt when used elsewhere.Could Improve:1) 3 - 5 of the 15 total blades I assembled have paint defects - the paint is already delaminating from the fan blades. It is minor enough I won't notice it up on the ceiling, but the blade paint jobs noticeably worse brand new than the 20 - 30 year old fan I recently wiped down which still has perfectly strong adherent paint.2) The globe size is too small for normal light bulbs, so mini E26 are needed.3) the 5 watt LED bulbs are unacceptably dim. I bought 9 watt replacements and each of those new bulbs which says it is a 100 watt incandescent equivalent, results in an overall 100 watt incandescent equivalent when there are two of them inside this light dome, which dims the bulbs a bit. So mini LEDs can correct for the issue and still fit in the tiny dome, resulting in "normal" lighting conditions, so the lighting situation is redeemable, but not ideal.4) I bought these on sale and was going to buy 2 more, but saw they almost doubled the price a few months later. These are good fans, but considering the defects mentioned I'm probably done buying them now that they've gone back up in price.I think if the dome profile could remain small and somehow accommodate regular bulbs, plus if these could have a better blade paint job, then I would have bought a couple more at the higher price.

Nice small fan
I purchased this ceiling fan for my small office - an 11x12 foot room - and it has fully lived up to my expectations. Simple and reliable, with three speed settings, it provides excellent air circulation throughout the room. The built-in light fixture provides ample illumination for cleaning or for searching for items on shelves or in cabinets. The fan blades are reversible (two-sided), allowing you to choose the finish that suits your taste - a choice you can even change in the future to match your new wall color. Assembly and installation were straightforward and did not take much time. The design is tasteful and stylish. The fan was delivered very quickly and in secure packaging. I recommend this product to buyers looking for a small, reliable, budget-friendly fan.

Good lookin’ beefy little bugger
Building a cabin right now and the rooms are a little smaller than standard-sized house rooms, so looked everywhere for a small fan (in the 24-36” range) that looked halfway rustic and also had a downrod and was capable of being hung on an angled ceiling. Finally found this guy, although was leery of the look of the frosted glass bulb enclosure at first.Put this together and first impression is that it is well-made, good components even though made overseas, and beefy and nice and heavy for it’s size! Which is a good thing. Not so heavy that you’re worried about it’s weight, just heavy in that it’s components are obviously of a good and substantial material. This thing looks nice. The color of the blades and houses is natural enough to go well with a rustic look, and the frosted glass enclosure adds a touch of class without interfering with the rustic look. Really adds a nice touch of character to the room! Also, the ceiling in which I installed this is a 4/12 pitch, just inside the limits of ceiling angle it states it can accept, and because the blades are small enough, I actually decided to stick with the 4” downrod it came with and not change that out to a 12” downrod, which would have made it hang too low. On the 4” downrod, the blades have about a 4-5” clearance to the ceiling at their tips, which I know is not “ideal”, you want 10” or so, but hanging this around the 8’ height of our ceiling it had to be with the 4” downrod. For it to look right with a 12” downrod you’d have to move it up the angled ceiling where it now is at almost the 10’ ceiling height mark, which was beyond the room at that point. So for me I ordered the 12” downrod, put the fan together with the 4” downrod it came with, and then held the fan up in it’s ideal spot with the 4” downrod at ceiling height and then also held the fan up and simulated what the fan would look like with the 12” downrod in hand next to it. Unless you have really high ceilings, you’ll find a longer downrod will not look right. If your ceiling pitch is greater than what this states it is rated for, all you need to do is order a separate canopy for it that accepts steeper angles. I had to do this for a living room ceiling fan for our cathedral living room ceilings that are 9/12 pitch. Not a big deal.So overall, this fan for it’s price for the bill nicely and looks great! Haven’t run it yet so no comments on actual performance in motion.

Great quality, good price
Very pleased with Honeywell's fans. I went on to buy a second one for another room, I've immediately developed brand loyalty for Honeywell. I paid $74 in May 2025. Very quiet operation

Solid Design - Quiet Operation - Beautifully Balanced
Most of the ceiling fans that I've installed in my home came from Amazon and have given me good service. However I recently returned one that I ordered from Amazon because I could not control the fan and lights separately from my wall switches and it was tacky. My delay installing a ceiling fan in our smallest bedroom was that I had converted into my office. Most fans were simply too big. Fortunately my rooms have modern overhead fixture wiring in the ceiling that gives me separate wall-switch control of the light and fan. I dislike remote controls because they are easily misplaced and are, in my opinion, an unnecessary distraction. This fan model has separate, clearly labeled pull chains for the light and the fan and a reversing switch and, of course, separate wiring to control the two. This Honeywell Ocean Breeze ceiling fan could not have pleased me more. Some assembly is required. Although I've installed many ceiling fans, please be advised that it's easy to install the fan blades on the brackets wrong if you're not paying close attention. Read the instructions carefully and then read them again to make sure you get them right before hanging this fan. The only tools I needed were a Phillips screwdriver and a wire stripper. A small snag was that the included wire nuts were too small to connect the fan's stranded wire to my #14 copper wiring. Fortunately, I had larger wire nuts on hand.Needing more light than the two paltry 5-watt LED lamps included with the fan could provide, I removed the two 15-watt LED lamps from the ceiling fixture this fan replaced and installed them in this fan's light globe, which is rated for up to 60-watts. My final result is a handsome fan, right-sized for my small room. It runs quietly even on its highest speed which moves a lot of air, and is perfectly balanced without my adding compensating weights. The two 15-watt LED bulbs barely fit the globe but they provide me with good light.Aside from this fan's attractive appearance and good performance it feels solid, though not too heavy to hang comfortably on its accompanying ceiling bracket. It mounted securely on my existing ceiling fixture box. Amazon's price for this fan was better than I could find for a similar model at any of my local big box stores. I am now a fan of this fan.

Perfect fan.
This is the second one. The first we have had for three years now. It’s a perfect size for us and very quiet. The blades are reversible depending on your decor. We find the light is a little bright but no problem really. I found it a little heavy to hold up on my own but I am 77.Definitely recommend this fan.

great air power
bought this fan for my moms room as her old fan broke. expensive for a small fan but holy what air power this little things emits. looks so cute and love the light that comes from it. nice modern look and mom is so crazy happy with it. only downfall it was hard to put up as there wasn't any wire to attach for secure while wiring, so we had to make shift a wire to hold it up. otherwise amazing little fan.
