Impressive
First I must say how impressed I was with the clarity in view with the amount of zoom! The pictures posted by other customers on the distance really helped twords buying it. To why I wanted to make my own to share also.I wanted something that would have better zoom than my cameras. Clarity that my video camera doesn't have, becoming pixely at very high zoom.A billboard that is hard to see with human eyes from where I was located. I was able to see clearly with the monoscope. Blurry with my mobile camera at full zoom. When fully zoomed-in on the monoscope, I was so close I could even read it! I recommend a tripod when using at the highest zoom for better detail view. The clarity is even better than the pictures I uploaded! I used a Samsung Note 10 plus for the photos. The product is very light. The bag is nice and light also. Even if new will not smell bad, or cheap so that is a plus.I loved the price for such a good product. I knowing so little about monoscope I discovered that to get even closer with a more powerful zoom I would need a spotting scope. Yet this will do fine and seem to have the best distance compaired to others monoscopes. So I got them both and its a great treat and a 😁👍 great buy.

Here's a "real" review
So what can you get these days out of these inexpensive optics. Good binoculars usually start at around 200 dollars and zoom optics are always a compromise. Look through a pair of Fujinon's or Steiners and you'll be shocked at how good they are (that's what I keep on my boat), but not everyone wants to spend that much. The good news is that, over the years, a LOT of optical technology has trickled down and gotten cheaper. This monocular is a perfect example because 40 bucks is pretty low-end, yet this does do a pretty good job.OPTICS: At the lowest magnification you get a reasonable amount of sharpness. If you haven't experienced high end stuff, this is pretty amazing. No ghosting and colors look very good. As you zoom in the image will soften slightly, but it's still perfectly acceptable. The extra magnification is useful, if that's what you require. If you plan to use these on a boat, the higher magnification will be tougher to use because you won't always be able to keep steady.HANDLING: The monocular is actually quite large, very much like the other half of a full size binocular. A tripod mount is nice, but the lack of ANY strap attachment is a SERIOUS flaw. The bag does have a strap, but that's really not as good. Focus and zoom operate smoothly and the unit feels fairly solid and is not going to be easily dropped.VALUE: This is a very inexpensive monocular. But it performs at a high enough level to make a lot of users happy. It's not going to replace any of my premium binoculars. They deliver optical quality that is sharper and with higher contrast, which is what we'd expect. But for the money, this is pretty solid and I doubt most people will be unhappy with the performance. The worst offense is the lack of strap, but you can always buy a strap with a tripod attachment and solve the problem that way. I bought this so I don't have to pass around my expensive binoculars to guests while sailing here in California. ;-)

Love this monocular very much.
These monoculars have gotten way better than an older one I have. The construction and materials on this are great. This thing is Nitrogen filled and is water, dust and fog proof. With being IPX7 rated, you can take it in the water with you and it will not only be air and water tight but will float as well.Love that you can zoom and have multiple choices between 10x zoom to 30x zoom with just a turn of the eyepiece. The 50mm lens on this also gives you a wide view and a great image using the BAK4 Porro Prism and they give you lens caps to protect both. This is a little on the big size and weighs a little more than other but it also comes with a 1/4" tripod thread hole on the bottom of the monocular, so you can also use a tripod or monopod if needed. I would actually recommend one if using this for a spotting scope for target practice on the range or where you need it more stationary for a better stable view.I have an eagles nest I like to stop by and see if they are home and in the nest or if they have given birth at that time of year and this makes it really easy to just pull up and look and check without even getting out of the car.Overall, love this monocular from Emarth. This is made and built just like there bigger spotting scopes and I love those as well.

Excellent value for this price!
I have about 5 monoculars and 5 binoculars, in the price range of $50 - $400. Among my "collection", this monocular's value for money is easily at the top in terms of image quality and zoom functionality. Is it the best monocular out there? No. Of course not! If you want the best, you need to pay up. I don't know about you but I sure don't want to spend one month's salary on a monocular. Can you find a monocular that gives you better value for your money? I seriously doubt it.Do I enjoy using it? You bet!So if you want a high power zoom monocular, I would highly recommend this one.I do need to out that a tripod is a must if you want to zoom to higher than 10X. Hand-holding a monocular at 30x is simply not very feasible.Aside from its tremendous value for money, this monocular has another killer feature compared to other high power zoom monoculars: it has folded optical path design, meaning the overall size is reduced by about 50%.When you are deciding on whether or not to buy this particular monocular, you only need to ask yourself one question: do I need a fixed medium-power monocular (such as 8x42) or a zoom high-power monocular? If your answer is the latter, this one would be an excellent choice.
