YOUNGFLY 12V LCD Car Auto Digital LED Electronic Time Clock Thermometer with Backlight

Two previous reviewers stated they could not set the time on theirs. I was able to set up mine. There are two small buttons on the back, with tiny letters on the plastic, A is at top and B at bottom. Instructions say to press and hold A for 3 seconds. Actually you press hard and hold in button B (not A) for 4 or 5 seconds. Device will flash "12 H or 24 H"; use the A button to choose 12hour or 24hour display. Then in sequence, each time, press B once to advance to next setting, and press A one or multiple times, to move the choice forward until desired number is reached. The settings go in order: 12H or 24H, then Year, Month number, Date number, Hour number, then Minute. I think the temperature only will show Celsius; I did not find an option to choose Fahrenheit.For the backlight, use the large silver button on the top: one press for three seconds of backlight. Or press and hold down silver button for 5 seconds, to have half-power backlight stay on for the next 4 hours. Battery is a type CR2032 (in case you need to buy replacement). Also, devices like this usually come with a small piece of plastic placed under the battery to insulate the battery and stop any power drain during shipment. You pull out the plastic during set up and then the battery makes contact and device starts operating. My device came working, so I don't know how long battery has already been in use in the clock, before I received it.

Some reviewers said the "chinglish" instructions are backwards but I have a touch of dyslexia so it worked just fine for me.After actually reading the directions I was able to select 12 hour mode and set the correct time quite easily. There is even a feature that lets you dim the backlight by half to save battery power. The one thing about this clock is that you must mount it where it will be in direct eye-line at night, because looking either down or up at it all you will see is the blue back light.

it is a nice size 1'' x 3'' I purchased this for my big rig. first off the setting buttons are reversed as per the instructions. I did figure out how to set the time. the temperature is in Celsius only no way to change.the tiny mounting clip and piece of double stick tape worthless.

It is attractive, easy to read and will serve its purpose. Unfortunately, I did not realize the temperature shows in Celsius only.

Clock came with battery installed and clock on. Don't expect much battery life on battery it came with. Feels cheap. LCD is not easy to read unless your at the right angle. Temp only shows C not F. Mount is as about cheap as it gets, I think tin foil would be just as strong.

This clock is very hard to adjust the time

One of the principle reasons I chose this one was because the battery is a 2032 coin cell. 2032 coin cells are widely available. You can buy a pack of three in the dollar store for $1.25. Also, most of these kinds of "clocks" have batteries that are not user changeable, which means, they are so much land fill when the batteries are gone.By the way, I have mine perched on top of our range in the kitchen because the clock on it gave out years ago. You can buy some two-sided tape and simply stick it anywhere.

Two issues with this item.1, The clock is not accurate. It goes slower and slower everyday. It goes slower roughly half a minute every week.2. The display does not have good contrast. You will need to tilt it like 30 degrees to see the display clearly.

For the price can't complain, I needed a clock I could see the time in the sunlight, my digital car clock too small to see in bright light. As for the illuminated part the button on the top rattles when the car is in motion, so I had to scotch tape it. Does the job I needed it for, but is starting to run slow.

This brother came with a dead battery and the label to protect the screen was put on wrinkly bad and it doesn't work I can't even get a new one sent out to me without sending an old broken one out the pain in the butt don't buy

Unit powered up and light worked but I was unable to set the time or date. Very disappointed. As this was exactly what I was looking for. Returned item.
