Bought these without knowing their class of ferric material. It most be class 31 or even lower. It does not provide filtering for 300-400Mhz band to filter cheap LED light noise from interfering with garage door opener. I'll keep them for a audio choke on computer items, but buyer beware if you buy chokes without the manufacturer telling you the class of ferric used.

I purchased these because the LED lights in my shop were interfering big time with my CB Radio. I could not even here a local transmission with the lights on. I installed 4 of them on the feed line to the LED shop light. One to the power converter that powers the Radio and one on the external speaker. These took away 98 % of the distortion. Still need to keep the light off for SWR tuning. I am very pleased so far

I was hoping that these noise filters (ferrite beads) would do something to stop the annoying intermittent popping from my powered subwoofer, but alas, despite clamping on even 6 of these things to the wires, no change. I don't have any other applications to try them out, so can't comment on overall effectiveness. Hopefully they'll work for you to reduce whatever annoying electrical noise you're dealing with.As far as the material goes, they are well made, the ferrite cores are encased in the plastic, are easy to open/close, and the ferrite cores looks to be of decent quality: smooth, even, and well manufactured.

The cheap speakers in my bedroom that I use to play white noise at night were picking up my neighbor’s Morse code transmissions which woke me up constantly. On the advice of someone in a ham radio group I ordered these. I had to use most of the pack and it worked much better when I used the big ones and wound the cord around multiple times rather than just snapping on the small ones, but I’m no longer being jolted awake by taping every time my neighbor is feeling chatty at night and I didn’t have to ask him to mess with his antennas. Well worth the money to keep peace in the neighborhood.
