EarSkinz EarPod Covers (ES2) - Jet Black - for Apple iPhone X / 8/7 / 6S / 6 / 5S / 5SE / 5C / 5

This is a fantastic product and I would give it 5 stars, however, there are a few things holding me back from giving full stars. Firstly, the installation was among the most complicated and difficult I've ever experienced (mind you, I've taken apart my mac to install ram and a new battery). Okay--- so maybe not that bad, and all jokes aside, once the earskinz were on, it was a challenging to make sure they were perfectly aligned with my apple headphones. The result, however, is as advertised and not only secures your headphones comfortably in your ear but also does improve the sound noticeably. The build quality is fairly good, it is clear where the rubber was molded as indicated from the lines that aren't pictured in the photos in the product description. All in all, it does make my headphones look super stylish, and I would recommend them to everyone. They fit in my ear perfectly without any irritation, which is a feat for someone with very sensitive skin. I wish they build quality was just a little better, and also wish the product came with detailed cleaning instructions. Does anyone know a good way to clean these without taking them off? because I can't see myself taking them off anytime soon, or ever --- really. Another topic of hot discussion is price. These are a third as expensive as the actual headphones themselves, and lord knows that these are very expensive headphones to begin with. Are they worth it? For me, yes. But I understand others hesitations. They will protect the headphones from getting scratched, and what is great about them is no gunk will get into the buds themselves (which is a huge problem for me, not to mention disgusting)SO QUICK BREAKDOWN:1. Does everything that it is advertised to do and more (things you never thought about)2. difficult to put on, but sturdy once applied (difficult to get on and align everything perfectly)3. wish they were sleeker and better constructed (though there may be a very good reason they are made exactly the way they are) and its not like they're made badly. Perhaps if the rubber was a tad bit harder and less flexible, installation, matching them up, and their general appearance would be improved.4. look cool and gives your headphones a new look that the control-freak of a company (Apple) doesn't offer. Remember, this company was funded on kickstarter and offers a solution to a problem that we have all needed a fix for. No other company has done a better job at trying to fix this problem, though many have tried.5. If anyone knows a good way to clean these while keeping them on, please tell me.Cheers!

Overall I'm quite satisfied with these. The left one seems to fit a bit better than the right one, but both earbuds stay securely in my ears now, whether walking, running, or working out. I hated that feeling of an earbud that always feels like it's about to fall out and I no longer have to worry about that. The EarSkinz were not too hard to get on the earbuds (watch the video, you have to moisten the earbud first so they slip on easier). The slightly tacky surface does collect some dust and lint but that's easily wiped away with a damp finger. The vents can also get clogged with earwax, but again, that's easily removed. I don't have an issue with the price because when something works, it works. Thumbs up on this one.

I purchased these because I actually like the Apple EarPods more than barrel shaped in-ear headphones that can create slight pressure issues and other audio issues. But as we all know modern Apple EarPods do not stay in your ears—in my case not at all, and for others they are easily dislodged. The EarSkinz EarPod Covers solve the issue by eliminating the slickness of the EarPod. Key points: - Very easy to install and remove. - Once on, the fit is tight enough that you don't need to continually reposition. - Will not come off the EarPod during use, like the traditional barrel-shaped in-ear rubber device can. - Washable, with the EarPod itself is not, so a more sanitary option.With the release of the Apple Lightning connector EarPod and the iPhone 7, there is new emphasis on making your Apple EarPods more functional.Summary: If you like your Apple EarPods enough to spend an additional $10, or want to avoid an expensive Lightning headset for your new iPhone 7, these are a great buy.

Got these to go over Amazon Premium earbuds mainly because it was noted when I purchased the earbuds that these were usually bought with the earbuds. They are soft and so far have helped to keep my earbuds in my ear (even during workouts). The one problem I do have is that they don't fit correctly over the right earbud. I'm unsure if it is amazon earbud quality or a defect in the cover. Besides that, they did go on the earbuds fairly easily and definitely don't need to be adjusted (so far-2mos). I am glad I made the purchase, though.

Ok, I know the Apple earbuds aren't all that comfortable in the first place. But put a pair of these EarSkinz covers on them and they become practically unbearable! I gambled $10 on the off chance that they were as good as other customers had stated. Maybe it just depends on the individual person and his or her overall sensitivity. But I'm going back to the cheap foam covers. There is a listing on Amazon for a whole package of cheap ones, (I think 24,) and it only costs a couple of dollars. It's not a "Prime" item but does include shipping. But they come from another country and might take a few weeks for them to show up. Like I said they're cheap so if course they won't last long. But you get a lot of them and they are WAY more comfortable than the EarSkinz.

I had the other ones they sell on here that you get two sets with. They sound a bit better because they have more room. Meaning they have more space for the air and bass, those are also a bit more comfy, but and a very big but, I went through four pairs of them. The other ones fall off all the time. I even tried using hairspray and superglue to keep them on but they always fell off and lost them.These stay on and never slip. I run with them and they never fall out and they make the stock iphone earbuds sound very nice.

I have gone through a number of sets of EarSkinz. They work as advertised: They are comfortable; they stay placed in my ears (even when wearing them to bed, and turning around a lot); and they stay in place on the ear bud for a good couple of months.I would give them a 5-star rating if they would stay in place on the ear buds for a longer period!

They do help keep the ear buds in the ear but not as much as I'd hoped. Not sure that I could run with these in my ear now but at least they're not falling out constantly. I paid 10 bucks, which I thought was too much for the little pieces of rubber that they are. Should be more like 4 bucks.

Material is too thick. Would not buy again.

It is not worth buying this stuff. I thought this would be a good product to hold the earphone in my ear, but it does not solve the purpose. It is just slipping my ears as it was before using with this skin. Do not buy this product.

Thought the price was ridiculously high for a product like this but it shipped within a day and it was a bit hard to put the covers on and align them properly with the headphones but they are comfy and I ran with them and not once did they fall out!

Calzano a pennello e rendono più comode le cuffie EarPods di Apple!Purtroppo sono molto alto e proporzionato, quindi ho le orecchie grosse e le EarPods rimangono troppo "indietro" rispetto al condotto uditivo!Questo si ripercuote sul volume d'ascolto (troppo basso) e sull'incastro (mi sento come se dovessero cadere da un momento all'altro).Con questa aggiunta, la stabilità migliora e con essa anche il volume! Per essere 2 gommini sono un po' costosi, ma se si vogliono usare comodamente le cuffie Apple sono un bel miglioramento!4 stelle per il prezzo, ma soprattutto per il fatto che anche con questa aggiunta le cuffie non diventano comunque isolanti come le in-ear!
