Silentnight 38040 Thermoelectric Dehumidifier 600ml / Auto Shut Off / 2L Water Tank/Slimline and Portable / 70W [Energy Class A]

1st one I ordered stopped working after a couple of days so ordered a replacement and have had no problems with this new one. Very slim and easy to use with just one on/off button and works really in my Conservatory.

Bought for atatic home and have had this on and working 24/7 for 5 days. No problem what so ever has sucked up at least 3l of water no water on the windows at all. So happy we got it a bargin and worth every penny.

Purchased this to replace the ne we had been using for the past 7 years, which suddenly stopped working.At first it was a good buy, arrived and started using it on the 5/12/20, but suddenly before Christmas it suddenly made what sounded like the motor was loosing power, so we switched it off checked the lead was fully connected to the unit, and the wall socket, but both connections were fine, so switched it back on, the green power light came on when we switched it on, the motor didn't restart and the green light stayed on.After contacting Amazon, they sent our request to the supplier, we printed off the return address slip, I was just packing the item up, when I received an email from the supplier, asking if I had tried the plug in another socket, which I had I explained we were all electric so if it had been a problem it would have tripped the fusebox, which it didn't, then I received a further 3 emails from the supplier, and finally was asked to wait till after the manufacturer was available, to see what they would suggest to do next, so I said 1) I am not a qualified electrician. 2) I would not be doing any repairs to the unit. 3) it has a 3 year warranty and it hasn't worked for a whole month, so it should be either replaced or refund me for the item and I will send it back. It also says on the printed returns slip that I will have to pay for the return postage, which will be refunded if it is found to be a fault of the unit, and not our fault. This I find annoying, I know it is over the Christmas holiday period, but even so it is a unit fault, there are no children here, so no one has been messing with it, we switch it off in the afternoon/evening, as it is a bit noisy and it would keep me awake, and it is then put back on in the morning around 8am, it hasn't been miss used it hasn't been on constantly, and it didn't work for very long, max 12 - 14 days, the unit is easy to use, but the fuss with sending back the faulty item is not good.

I purchased this over a year ago and is still going strong! It's easy to use and automatically stops when full. Just empty, out back in and away it goes again. I haven't had any problems with it at all and highly recommend it to anyone.Side note: when I purchased this it was on prime so free next day delivery. I also purchased when on sale, however I would pay full price again if I needed a second one.

Buying this I really didn’t know which to get and didn’t want to spend massive amounts.It does work, it extracts moisture from the air. Tried it one night but the noise was irritating. It’s obvious enough to be a pain but fine to have on in the day which is what we now do.

Good for small rooms, after a few days, can see quite a bit of water collected. Very well priced

Paid full price for a new dehumidifier. The box came damaged and missing the cable but was needed so had to purchase a cable separately onto of that it's not a great dehumidifier

Initial comment only. Very nice looking and fits really well on a window sill. However not that quiet and after being on a whole day collected very little water. This does not compare to another brand model I have, which though much noisier collects about 2 litres of water in that time period and was not much dearer to buy than this. It is possible to sleep with it on though my wife doesn't agree. Quite disappointed
