Era 5 Level Viscount Rebated Sashlock Set 63mm - Satin Finish

Needed to replace a 20 year old lock that had failed. Really easy to alter for the handing of the door. Only comes with two keys but that was OK.

I couldn't find a rebated sash lock in any of the DIY "sheds". A helpful assistant in one told me that all these superstores are either tied into limited brands or they only stock products with a high turnover. Obviously rebated locks for wooden french doors are not high turnover items as people sadly move more to plastic doors and windows. He suggested to search for ERA on the internet and sure enough I found this excellent 5-lever rebated lock on Amazon. Good value and nice smooth action!

Lock was ok but receiving plate only had a hole no casing so all wood shows through plus not sure insurers would accept it as 5 lever security!

Much better price than Screwfix or big diy stores - quick delivery - recommended
