Phone Case for Alcatel Onetouch Pop Icon A564c/7040T Rugged Heavy Duty Armo Cover Black Stand by Cellpak

Just received and put my case on my Alcatel Pop A564C. It wasn't easy. The case comes in a plastic bag, no instructions, and with a package of screen protectors and a small poly tipped pointer for use in the typing areas. I'm glad I read here that you need to take the soft poly cover off before starting to open the case. YES.. I said open the case. There is a cardboard name card inside under a cloudy plastic sheet.. but not a clear way to separate the plastic shell and get inside. Well.. you need to look very closely and you'll see a very find line where the flimsy outer shell separates from the base shell. You'll need a very fine blade to carefully pry the two apart without harming the plastic. They are a VERT TIGHT FIT. Once you separate them you can discard the card with the model number.. and slide your phone into the plastic base and snap the two pieces back together. Then put the stretchy, snug poly protector over the phone. All done... you would think! I noticed the plastic shield was glued to the inside of the upper plastic shell, but when I tried to view the phone outside I couldn't see the monitor as the plastic was cloudy. I tore the plastic shield away from the casing.. and now I can see my phone display. Perhaps the plastic sheet had deteriorated. Wonder why they put a package of screen protectors in when there already was one??? It has a great feel and look.. and all the openings are in the right place, and the push button covers activate the volume and on/off keys correctly. The kick stand works. Regards.. klsdad

I bought this case for my husband's birthday. He loves it because it has protected his phone quite well when he has accidently dropped it from 16 feet in the air while he was drilling and riveting as part of his job building Boeing 747 airplane wings. It is quite sturdy and has a good feel to it. The stand makes it easy for him to place the cell phone on the dash of the car when he needs to use the GPS app or when he needs to place on his working space toolbox, or his desk. He gives this case a rating of 10 as it is the best one he has had so far. Excellent price, great quality.

The kickstand is a tad flimsy but works great when using clock/alarm app (just roll over and look vs. picking it up). For giggles I tested it in water with similar phone weight and it floated (no it will not water-proof your device just nice to know if it falls in a lake you can snag it). A bit bulky but in the environment I put it thru keeps my pop nearly bullet-proof. The rubberized skin is almost skid free on most surfaces too. Like another review I read... do NOT try to stuff your phone in the case as shipped. Remove the rubber skin and the housing snaps apart - insert phone - snap back together then put your rubber on! Overall nice product for the price (found one like it at a big box for $29 so good buy).

This protective shield is very good. It is made of plastic and covered with a rubber outer shell. The sides are raised above the surface of the phone for added protection. Rubber also covers the side buttons, but they are still usable through the ribber, but you have to press the buttons a little harder. Plenty of space is provided for the cameras and connections. The pop-out side stand is also nice.There weren't any instructions with it, but you peel the rubber down along the sides and then split the plastic seams along the sides of the case to insert the phone. It provides plenty of protection for the phone.Good protection for this phone.

I like this case for my phone, which is an Alcatel Fierce One Touch, its a little bit too big for the actual phone, at least its not a very snug fit so the phone does move slightly inside the case, but not so bad that I wanted to not use it or return it. I have dropped my phone about 3 times since I got the case and am happy to say my screen is still intact...so its definitely serving the purpose that it was purchased for.

Not much to say, long term the shell protects the phone well. The stand is not made of such stern stuff. It took a year but it did eventually snap off. It was somewhat useful until that happened.

It's worth the price for sure. Seems rugged enough. I have no problem with the buttons or using the touchscreen near the edges although the edges are indeed raised a bit more than others. The rubber backing/edge is gripping. I will just leave the kickstand in place. I don't have any use for it and it detracts a bit from the feel of the case even when folded in place. Five stars for value, maybe 4 .5 stars for the stand.

I found this to be really heavy on my phone and removed it. If you are hard on your phone or worried about dropping it, perfect protection for it..I am neither, so I didn’t like the extra bulk on it.
