"Stand" is hard to close; beware of price changes
The prop tab to keep it upright is difficult to re-set into the back of the unit when trying to close it. It is easy to bend. Same problem with the case I bought for another device. It is easy to bend the metal brace out of shape when trying to replace the tab. Then it has to be bent back into its original shape. What was even more distressing was that not even a month after I had purchased it via Amazon, the price dropped 66%!12/3/13: Update: I believe the company sincerely wants to do right by its customers. They emailed me that they were looking at that spring design. Also they made the price difference right. I would continue to obtain their products. Re-rating to 4 stars based on company's customer service.

A few rough edges, but works well
Biggest annoyance is the bluetooth seems to take some effort to reconnect, and I haven't figured out the magic pattern (other than to go into wireless, bluetooth, and tap the keyboard entry). It seems thick and a bit puffy, but I'd rather complain about that than if I were to drop it and it wasn't as protected. That is the trade-off v.s. a bare kindle, but I don't think there is anything that would work better. Some of the sewing or seams seems to have been heat melted so has sharp edges - not enough to cut, but you can feel it as if there is a deeply buried pin.The keyboard doesn't hit the kindle since the kindle fits into a pocket, so there is a leather bezel around that holds it secure.Landscape tilt works well, portrait not so well.I like the detachable keyboard, sometimes it is much more comfortable to pull the keyboard aside. There is no indication of keyboard battery percent, and I don't know the life (one reason for the disconnect is I often leave it idle for a while). Could it use a topoff? Is it almost empty? No way to know.Nothing in the kindle is blocked, or even harder to access with the case. Even the sound comes through. Some kind of hole, grommet, or band around the spine would help when it is on a less regular surface (e.g. some exercise equipment where it would be easily secured with something like a belt. The keys are a bit small and the layout could be better for some of the message typing (I do use quotes and apostrophes), but you can't have everything with a compact keyboard. A touchpad-mouse would help since not everything has proper navigation. Though shift-arrow allows me to select easily, so I can use it for longer notes. But overall, a very good case and keyboard.

MoKo Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7" keyboard/case.....GET ONE!
Woo Hoo! My Kindle Fire HDX 7" is just like a baby laptop now, especially since I installed the OfficeSuite 7 Pro application. I admittedly will probably use it for viewing, rather than creating Word, Excel, PowerPoint or .pdf files I receive, however, it is nice to be able to modify them as needed. I could create one of those files in a pinch.I learned how to type when I was in high school (2015 is my 50th class reunion). It was no problem to "adjust" to the little keyboard. It has excellent touch and feel. I've only had this since yesterday......FREE two day delivery and on a Sunday no less. I still have to look down to find the apostrophe and the double-quotes but that's no big deal. For whatever it's worth, my HDX 7" in it's new keyboard/case will still fit the cargo pockets of my shorts and slacks that have them. The MoKo keyboard/case for my HDX 7" takes it to a whole new level.

Overall Great Product
I ordered this keyboard for my tablet because I am current Peace Corps volunteer and I didn't want to buy a laptop for service, but I still had to keep up with paperwork as well as keep in touch with loved ones. I'm overall extremely pleased with my purchase, however it missed the 5-star mark for the following reasons:1) The stitching in one of the top corners has already come undone. The tablet is still secure and I can probably resew it myself, but still. It fell apart in about a week; that's really too soon.2) The tablet portion of the case can sometimes feel bulky. See in the picture how it extends quite a bit beyond the tablet? When sitting on a desk, it's absolutely fine; however, if I'm trying to hold my tablet in my hand, it can feel awkward. Also, my charger and headphones get caught on it when I'm plugging them in.3) The keyboard falls asleep rather quickly. If I take a pause to think, I need to incessantly tap a key to reawaken it. It takes longer than I would have expected to resume typing. However, I think the case and keyboard are overall great. I'm just trying to be thorough. Here's what I really love:1) The keys click properly when typing. This doesn't feel like an accessory, but instead like a proper keyboard that just happens to be tiny.2) Set-up and continued use is easy. This was my first foray into Blutooth and I didn't know what to expect. It was SO EASY.3) The tablet will auto-wake when opened...usually. I notice that this feature only kind of works because it's quite hard to align the tablet and keyboard perfectly enough to get the auto-wake/sleep function to work. Small issue, though.4) The keyboard pops out easily. It also pops right back in and it doesn't feel sloppy or insecure.5) The kickstand is not limp. Some people say it is hard to put back in and I would almost agree. I would say that it doesn't just go right in by pushing on it, which I actually really appreciate. You need to make a decided effort to put it back, which I prefer.6) The battery seems to last forever. I haven't run out of power once yet, despite accidentally leaving the keyboard on for days at a time.7) The Fn key is really thought-out. The functions absolutely expand the productivity of my tablet. For the record, I currently use Docs-to-Go (free edition) for my office needs and it's been working great for me so far.An overall great product that has versatility, productivity and travel in mind. I paid less than 30 bucks for it, which was ABSOLUTELY worth it. I only wish the same effort that went into the keyboard also went into the case.
