Question 1

My laptop sits vertically and shut (connected to a monitor). Would this fan work for me standing up next to the laptop?

Accepted Answer

I have another version of this type of cooler (I intend to buy this one also). I have my laptop as you state, in an aluminum vertical stand. I have this cooler setup to blow across the intake (backside) of my laptop. My laptop is for work, and I'll say, it works well. The cooler is decently quiet, however, as stated, mine is slightly different then this model.

Question 2

Is it compatible with dl g5 5500?

Accepted Answer

Disclosure: I do not represent the Seller or Manufacture. The item you inquiring about is a generic multi-device cooling fan made to be used with Laptops, Tablets or a Phone. I am not familiar with 'DL G5 5500', when I researched it the only result I got was a Dell G5 15 5500 Laptop, if this is your device or the device you are describing is a Laptop then it will fit on this device. Again, this is a universal cooling fan for Laptops, Tablets & Phones so it will not fit like it was made for your specific device but should cool your device when properly rested on it. Also, purchase the item, give it a fair one week test so that you & your device can get use to it and if you are not satisfied with the cooler then return it for a refund. I hope this helps

Question 3

My Omen 15.6 laptop got hot easy while I’m playing gaming. Will this works to cool down

Accepted Answer

I would guess that a gaming laptop venting hot air out the back will not work well with this system unless the rear of the laptop was up over the fan itself

Question 4
